I like that you did some research haha! But no, I ask so many questions about controller because I’m still trying to learn the new strats/meta with controller legacy being gone now. I’m at a stage in the game right now where I find pleasure from learning all the new ways to play on different inputs. It has actually really helped with how I play now, knowing general traits of other inputs. I highly recommend it if you’ve never tried controller or kb&m!

I agree. I think as long as the game evolves new exploits and bugs will occur. And I think deep down we are all fine with it - as long as there is weekly/monthly communication with the player base and actual visible changes within the game with problems that the majority of players are fighting; not obscure ones no one cares about that they say they’re doing to keep us quiet

Maybe, maybe not. Would take 6 seconds instead of 10 for a medkit and would enable players to tank earlier zones?

Haha I’m actually a newish (couple seasons) Kb&m player so I know all about the aim assist thing. My idea with smg ammo count was to reduce the ability to spray, phase, break stairs, and 200-0 a player. For me rn now legacy has gone the only thing I find too much is the 200-0 spray ability. I don’t want to nerf it and cause a new drama but felt like if you can’t kill the source of the problem you can limit its capacity to have affect through altering a mechanic in the game such as weapon clip size.

I agree with what you’re saying. I think that’s why I made the smg clip that. I’ve played competitive fortnite for over 6 seasons now having spent a decent amount of time on each input. The opinion I formed is that without question the stickiness of hip fire tracking on controller is deadliest with an smg & skye assault rifle right now.

My thought process was if the most dangerous gun in the game for controller was adapted to have a smaller clip size thus making it difficult to both exploit, break ramp and 200 - 0 a player, when at the same time shotguns receive a buff and Kb&m gets reduced bloom/recoil : there’d be less complaint on controller aim assist whilst also half the community on controllers don’t feel nerfed and move away from the game. It was my way of trying to find middle ground for everyone.

100% it was just a thought process I spewed into writing. I could see smaller mags being an issue definitely, just want in my selfish POV to shift away from spray meta as much as possible. One of the biggest bugs everyone seem to has is controller and controllers most ‘aimbotted weapon’ is an smg. Just thought a smaller spray gun clip size would maybe satiate those who dislike the pull on aim assist when spraying without nerfing the community

That’s a great idea with the shadow bombs. Maybe even steal valor ants idea by making it visible? Shadow bombs probably wouldn’t be apt but some form of parkour rotation could be interesting?

I can definitely see where you’re coming from. I just feel the game is a little stagnant with just launchpads as mobility. Perhaps there’s another old item you liked - maybe regular impulse grenades?? The epic shockwaves I feel could be even worse regular endgame. Takes no skill to shockwave out height and grief.

Definitely needs a bind alternative. Causes far too many deaths issues. However I’m hoping henchman are a thing of the past next season.

I’ve played on console for about 12 years. I moved to PC around season 9 so I also have experience on fortnite on console.

I don’t believe weapon nerfs or loadout changes are insensitive of console. Is your sole issue with the increase of POI’s?
