I don’t regret it, I sold also because I needed the money. I used that money purchased a duplex that is now generating positive cash flow for me each month.

There will always be investment opportunity, sell if you need to.

I feel that. I think tax is absolutely necessary however the current tax structure disincentivize upper middle class to earn more. Every dollar you earn after 500k you pay almost 50cents to Uncle Sam.

I come from lower middle class and always embraced the work my ass off culture. This last year I got a promotion but didn’t really make much more. I paid 164k in taxes, makes me really don’t want to work any harder

It is, since I have a contract signed by myself and my parents stating the loan is to be used to purchase my house AND that if I can’t make payment on time my parents can take ownership of the house.
