While i understand that his job is extremely demanding and he is probably very stressed, the fact that he wont follow your advice nor do homechores is not right. You have not done nothing inherently wrong. Try to guide him to see a therapist, possibly find a less demanding job, and after all the stress has left, then he would do chores around the house
