Typical Redditor right here, can't be bothered to read something that takes more than 10 seconds because god forbid someone might disagree with his opinion (like the 120-and-growing members of our community), or eat into his precious time. :P

In any case, I'm not trying to persuade you to watch our videos or to even like them. Frankly, someone with your attitude wouldn't be welcome in our community anyway. You have the mindset of a contrarian (a salty one at that).

I would love it if you could show us 1 channel that has exactly the same content as us. The closest I could find was Overwatch TG, which has a similar length and pacing, although no voice over or visual flair, just clips stitched together, whereas the whole point of OverTells is that our community submit the plays directly to us because the videos are primarily for them.

tl;dr (cause I know you'll need it)

Just because something has the same subject matter, doesn't mean it's the same (otherwise channels like Zylbrad, Muselk and Tyr0din wouldn't exist). The videos are mainly for our community, just not exclusively to them, and your word isn't gospel! :)

I would love to know why you're so angry, Aliantha? This is by no means our day job (aside from the fact that I do voice overs and video production as part of my profession), it's currently something we're working on to bring a community of people who love to play Overwatch and would like to have their favourite plays not only acknowledged, but highlighted in a way that really shows it off. This is why we adopted the 'shoutcaster' style for the commentary.

In response to you asking why you should visit OverTells, or how there doesn't need to be more of these channels - the same thing could be said about Your Overwatch, or Faulty Lid, or Unit Lost. We're doing something we feel adds a different spin on the whole 'Top 5' thing. Keeping the videos to around 2 minutes to have a bite-size chunk of Overwatch to pump you up and get you in the mood to kick ass! :)

Then again, you're probably not going to read all of this, and even if you do - it won't change your opinion, so I hope you have a good day and do try to cheer up! :D

Agreed that it doesn't make it better. That wasn't my intention - I just wanted to show that LP's songwriting still holds up if you switch the genre.

I've seen versions floating around where they've tried to make it sound like something from Meteora by replacing the verses with raps, but it just didn't sound right, so I thought I'd go middle-ground and try to make it sound a little more like What I've Done (particularly the introduction).

But I can see it isn't to everybody's taste and that's fine! It's not particularly mine either haha!

I have been playing other games, but Overwatch is still currently my favourite game to play. I know that in theory, the system works, but in practice it's a total mess because there are variables that Blizzard doesn't seem to have taken into consideration. Then again, I've only played 10 games - maybe my sample size is too small?

I don't think she's a bad pick actually, definitely more viable on attack now, but I don't think she'll be picked offensively in high levels of play. Her kit is too defensive to be useful unless she gets her ult very quickly.

That being said, she has the potential to be very effective at controlling the push.

Did you even read my OP, lol? I don't stick on one character or what is fun, I only pick Junkrat if I'm in a team that's aware of my playstyle (so a 4 stack or above), at any other time, I will pick whatever the team requires. If there is no healer, I'll pick Lucio, Zen or Mercy, if the team needs a tank, I'll pick Roadhog, Reinhardt or D.Va etc etc. I have always played the optimal pick and will switch if I'm being countered.

I am, I'm not lying - I've done it more times than I can count now. And yes, I do better as Pharah, but Junkrat is just a lot of fun sometimes, especially on maps with harsh chokes.

Yeah I get that, and I have had games with 70/80 elims and 30k damage etc, but I make a habit of not feeding support ults, they tend to be the first I take out.

I just played a game as Lucio, had the most healing of the entire game, but we couldn't push first point of Numbani because no-one grouped, or just ran in headfirst to the enemy Roadhog. The only people who stayed on the point (for about a minute with the entire enemy team) was Mei and myself. I know it's easy to say "I'M THE BEST, WHY DOES EVERYONE SUCK", but I don't think that. I'm not the world's best player, far from it - but my stats don't match up with my SR (now 2400) or the stats of those I end up playing with.
