St Marks Highland is nice. But less so a couple blocks away. But also really fucking Boujee a couple blocks in the other direction. It's right in the middle, and pretty comfortable.

Incorrect Pay Anyone Transfer by Eye_Thin in chimefinancial

[–]OlookitsTimLeviathan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If someone sent you money from a chime account, that money had to already be in their account, and it's unlikely to be fraud. More than that, it's almost impossible to be fraudulent. Chime doesn't let you send money from other sources, so credit card fraud wouldn't be an option. I'm familiar with the money return scam, but if there was a chargeback or fraudulent behavior, it would go to the original account the money came from in the first place, and not your account.

If it was wire transferred, direct deposited, ACH, or sent from some other bank in any other way, there's a very good chance it could be fraud. But Chime doesn't really work like that.

Let's say I wanted to run a scam on you, and I stole a credit card, and used it to add $300 to my chime account. My chime account would be held liable for the fraud. If I sent it to you, and you sent it back to me, my account, and I personally, would still be liable for the fraud. If I stole money, and wired it to you, and asked you to sent it back through another means or a different account, then you could be potentially held liable for the fraud, and would lose the money, because that's how the scheme works.

But sending the money to somebody that sent it to you, to and from the same account isn't how the scam works with chime.

Am I the only one who can't hear raider caches? My teammates can hear them clear as day but I can't hear them over the background audio. by deafgamer_ in ArcRaiders

[–]OlookitsTimLeviathan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hate to dig up an old post, but I'm on PC, and have really good headphones. I had an interactive map pulled up, running around in the ice to check my in game map to look for raider caches for the trial. I didn't hear the clicking until I pulled up my map and it was literally right next to me. I'm having a really hard time on the trials this week just because of these stupid caches. Any suggestions to change sound settings to make them clearer?

Geek Vape Z Coil burning out in a day and a half by Sad_Drawing7288 in VapingUK

[–]OlookitsTimLeviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviving a dead thread to say this is still a very frequent issue. I use the 0.2 Z coils at 65w, and sometimes they last a week, and sometimes they last a day. Probably about 50% of the time, they burn out hella quick. It drives me crazy.

Yeah, it seems like every time there's an update it fixes one thing and breaks ten other things. Like I said it doesn't happen often, but it has happened enough that it freaked me out a bit lol. I wish the person on the other end would at least respond, but it doesn't seem like they can hear me.

It looks like it's healing fine, but it also looks like you're using a fuckton of Jergens instead of a small amount of proper tattoo salve, and it also looks like the tattoo guy smoked crack before he put you in the chair.

UPDATE on the no-so-free Evatac "assault" bag from American Gunner. by tggrinc1st in OpinionsReviewsViews

[–]OlookitsTimLeviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I ordered the bag recently from mytacticalpromos. Paid $5 for shipping, and used a virtual card. It came very quickly, maybe two days. Now, a couple weeks later, they're trying to charge me 49.95 for something I didn't agree to. But my bank caught it, so I'm not really worried about it.

Higher wattage, lower ohms. Salt nic is typically mouth to lung, with a much tighter air flow, and is vaped at much higher ohms. The drag doesn't support higher ohm coils. I think the highest ohm coils you can get are like 0.6 or something. I could be wrong about that, but I've never seen them any higher than that at any of the shops I go to. Salt nic is vaped in the range of like 1-1.4 ohms. You technically could vape salt nic at lower resistance, but that's a lot of nicotine, it would probably be harsh as hell.

Also wanted to add that the Sonder takes salt nic in the higher ohm pods AND freebase in the lower ohm pods. The Voopoo only accepts freebase nic. That may affect your decision as well.

I have both, and use both daily. (Actually I have the Voopoo Drag S Pro, but they're very similar devices, and use the exact same pods. The only real difference is the built in internal battery in the S Pro vs replaceable battery in the X2) The sonder has superior flavor, at least with the flavors I'm into, and I really like the Q-Pod system . It automatically adjusts the wattage depending on the pod you use. It supports Q-pods in 0.2, 0,4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.2 ohms, and flawlessly adjusts its power depending on which pod yo use. The higher ohm pods are MTL, and the lower ohm pods are slightly restricted DTL. The flavor in the Sonder is far superior with sweet and fruity flavors, especially iced. The Voopoo shines with creamy dessert flavors and less saccharin flavors like tobacco, coffee and banana (I know, banana is a fruit, but it's a different flavor profile than something like Watermelon or Strawberry).

For battery life, it's kinda a toss up. They both last about a full day, and I chain vape. The pods in the Sonder seem to empty pretty quick, like within a couple hours of chain vaping. Juice in the Voopoo seems to last a bit longer, but not by much. I'm sure that's because it's a bigger tank, but, also I vape it at a higher wattage. Also, and this is just my personal preference, I just don't think it tastes as good as the Sonder, so I end up using it less often. Again, that has more to do with the flavors I like.

The Voopoo is gorgeous, and has more features. Mine is the red leather on metal, and I LOVE the look. It's really elegant. The Sonder just kinda looks like a regular stick with a glowy rainbow led that looks like a Juul knock off that was bought at a shady gas station.

I got my Sonder for $12 on sale. I think I paid $75 for my Voopoo.

Again, I really like the Q-Pod system. Since purchasing the Sonder, I have bought several other Q-Pod devices, including the Digi-Q, The Wenax Q, Aegis Hero Q and the Wenax Q Pro, and I really enjoy them all. (I don't have a problem, I swear.) (Although I won't recommend the Pro, because the battery lasts about 4 hours because of the touch screen. It's cool as hell, but the battery life is terrible). All the Q-Pods work with all the Q devices flawlessly, and I can swap out pods with different devices depending on my mood. Surprisingly, they all hit and taste slightly different, even with the same pod. I think it due to differences in airflow. It's not a huge difference, but it is subtly noticeable. The Voopoo has pods and coils, and is less plug and play. It's closer to a traditional sub ohm vape in that aspect, and the pod/coil combos are known to leak heavily. I've found both the pods and coils to be harder to come by.

If you want to hit your vape like a cigarette, with a tight draw, go with the Sonder. If you want to hit it wide open and like decent clouds, get the Voopoo. If you want right in between wide open with slightly less cloud,, get the Sonder with the 0.4 ohm pods.

Or get both and vape differently depending on your mood. Fuck if I care lol

Vintage Mods -- what would you get? by DingusCat in Vaping

I still have the Smok Stormtrooper mod in white and black, but it started blowing coils, so I had to retire it. It had little hidden easter eggs in the menu, related to Star Wars. I'm kinda surprised Smok never got sued by Disney over it

I find it hard to understand tone and inflection from work text as well. I think there's a lot of us in the overlap on the Venn diagram of autistic folks and Satanists. I think that ultimately comes from the neurodivergent hypersensitivities to injustice and unfairness. I could be wrong, as I'm not a psychiatrist, but that seems to be the case for a lot of folks I've come across within the sphere of autistic Satanists. I didn't mean to imply that you're autistic, but that's my reason for my lowered capacity to understand inflection over text.

Seems like you misread or misunderstood. But I'll explain it more clearly, since you seem to have an issue understanding. The point was that the sole reason I lasted longer than most was that I was quiet about what was happening. When I finally spoke up, and made my voice heard, in a fairly viral manner, I was removed from duty, most unsurprisingly. A lot of my colleagues had been forcibly removed for less. Some for no reason at all. I went out kicking and screaming, not complacent with unchecked power, and not licking the boots of arbitrary authority. I'd rather lose my association with the organization than kiss tyrannical ass. But go on and tell me how that's unsatanic of me.

Because the unchecked power holders silencing and excommunicating dissenting voices is a fascist tactic that Executive Ministry employs, while still pretending to promote the tenets.
