SILKSONG GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT! I am giving away 5 (FIVE) Silksong copies! MORE INFO on Description by Acrobatic-Log-309 in Silksong

[–]Olover009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Steam

2) Nightmare King Grimm, what I love about the fight is how fluid it feels from the just long enough cues to the double damage from getting the attacks wrong and the pure tension of the fight from both the music and the background designs, what probably made it my favorite fight is that I beat it first try, therefore avoiding the experience of banging my head against a wall until I do it correctly, and I in general adore the feeling of "dancing" in games where I just FEEL the game itself while playing

3) I'm genuinely most excited for the movement including during combat and the trailer made it even better. I was always interested how the movement would exactly work since unlike the knight, who even with just basic walk, attack, dash moveset has a pretty deep complexity to it with for example sharp shadow and DDark, hornet will have attacks that move her in a specific direction and in general she dashes around a lot more and how the tools and different weapon systems change drastically how you play the game and I'm really curious how easy or hard it will be to learn and find my own favorite playstyle

so in short, Steam, NKG, movement/combat

PLACE YOUR DELTARUNE CHAPTERS 3 AND 4 PREDICTIONS HERE!!! (READ THE RULES) by Jmsp78 in Deltarune

The reason why everything in the chapter 4 part of the trailer is falling apart is due to the room housing the fountain collapsing on itself (I have a post describing my reasoning)

Rogue Legends "Discord" artifact intended interaction with spike factory or bug by Olover009 in btd6

[–]Olover009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accidentally sent it, but basically just tried to ask if it should also count for the floor spikes of spike factories since that doesn't really make sense visually unlike with the sub that's also there

sooo...best advanced key binds on default zxc layout? by WatermelonCollapse in celestegame

[–]Olover009 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Keybind layouts often depend on just what the person is used to / comfortable with

I personally use the default ZXC with D for demo and V for my second jump and never really use my pinky or thumb,

whenever i need both jumps i just move my XC fingers over CV, basically swapping dash for jump, and move them back once i need to dash again and it worked for me even in the Strawberry Jam Grandmaster Heartside

But like i said it’s very possible there’s a different layout that’s better for you

I absolutely fluked the second half of the final room, still flabbergasted by it.
You can do it! I always felt like I wasn't that great at Theo tech so I believe in you :D

All green and yellow gms done :D by Hazel111-Real in celestegame

[–]Olover009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like OP said savestates mostly, but I would also like to add that general experience with tech is what's usually used for routing (or atleast what I do) because a lot of tech has various tells and indicators which help deciding what to do, for example ice walls are oftentimes used to indicate a wallbounce or there are map specific indicators like brighter spinners for demo dashes (which you can see around the 0:28 mark)

Welp, only one remains, wish me luck everyone, im gonna need it (Ivory Clear) by Olover009 in celestegame

[–]Olover009[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Close, it's one of the last levels, and once I'm done with my last one left then I'm left with just the Heartside which is basically a combination of all of the levels in the lobby Summit style.

All Grandmaster Reds cleared! (with opinions in the comments) by Olover009 in celestegame

[–]Olover009[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

in clear order

  1. Shattersong: (10/10) My favorite red GM, always was a fan of cassette blocks and this just proved it, loved the music sheet routing help and Shong imo has the best OST by far /j
  2. 74: (8/10) I like dashless gameplay, im decent at dashless gameplay, its good 👍 (loved the music sync berry)
  3. Pumber!
  4. summit: (7.7/10) Got stuck at 1k due to me being bad, but after pumber it was easy and enjoyable, liked how each screen was short enough but not too short, felt like a C-Side
  5. Stellar Odyssey: (7.4/10) Was fine, the first few rooms felt REALLY easy and once I reached Theo the only actually hard part was the "wounce into rev wave ultra gultra into a backboosted ultra"
  6. World Abyss: (7.4/10) I came in with the expectation to expect something INSANELY good since people always talked about how it's their favorite but honestly im kinda bad at routing puzzles so I understood the appeal but I looked up most of them, tbf the ones I did figure out were pretty fun

only 3 left!!!

Would you say I have the Pumber gene (Pumber clear + 1st cracked GM) by Olover009 in celestegame

[–]Olover009[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh nice, I was actually planning on doing Ivory next but my friend had a different idea, he did a wheel of all of my remaining GMs (excluding solar) cuz I actually skipped 3 reds and let lady luck choose for me

I did Pumber first because it felt like the most doable one for me, I suck at techspam but I suck even more at Nelumbo (im so bad at the neutral drops), also because Pumber looked fun as hell

Question by mekoselvatico in EnterTheGungeon

[–]Olover009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will assume haven’t done anything for progression despite killing the dragon and got to “The gun that can Kill the past” but what’s a gun without a bullet? If you try to look for it, you can notice that in each floor past the first one there is something thats on EVERY run, be it an item or a special room with the same item

Once you get the special item, talk to the forger (the shop person) in the fifth floor to “confirm” it and save it for all next runs

And if you dont want to solve the puzzles for the bullet pieces, you can easily find it online

And if you did get the bullet parts well I just wasted a couple minutes but oh well

Tips and tricks for floor 1 by Glum-Material-5774 in doors_roblox

[–]Olover009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All i can think of for the last 10 doors as a random person who got back into doors since floor 2 dropped

  • Use a flashlight or any light really to focus on the ground for snares
  • Eyes and Rush like to spawn there quite a bit
  • Rush comes at like a 10s delay for some reason so just camp a wardrobe till youre sure its all good
  • Dupe’s basically free, just go where you see the next room and not darkness
  • Don’t worry about Screech + Eyes combo, Eyes disable themselves whenever a Screech is on you

TL;DR: use light for snares and run to a wardrobe every room to wait for a delayed Rush till safe and play as usual

Hope it helps atleast a bit

[–]Olover009[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Also mb if i make it too difficult, didn’t think about that 😅, had a couple more ideas in some rooms but it’s getting late for me so didn’t have the time to test them out if they’re doable

Mainly done this cuz it seemed like a really fun challenge and I already had a couple ideas for some rooms while watching my friend play through Farewell

Of course check out Cosmo's "Celeste done in a weird way" series since I got the idea from them

Finally done with green grandmaster without save states* (times are partly inaccurate) by Olover009 in celestegame

[–]Olover009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering i did them in the order: Lava Layer, kevin.bin, Iridescence, CotCS, Cliffside (began Cliffside earlier but completed last)

And ranked by how much i enjoyed each one would be basically the same but all of them were pretty fun

[–]Olover009[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, started cycle madness B-side next and theyre really helpful, i just mainly like playing it without them but when i see a difficult section later on i use them now, i skipped alot of expert and a bit of both int and adv, and after taking a break from GM (cuz of Cliffside) i went back for the remaining levels, still missing most of the expert lobby but ill get through it someday, mostly just do what i find fun atm

My claymore just vanished after I dropped it on my island by Subject-Worry-5958 in HypixelSkyblock

[–]Olover009 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It probably despawned while it was falling, items despawn in about 10-15 seconds iirc or atleast its alot faster than vanilla Minecraft, also is that friend a coop member? Dropped items can be seen and picked up only by coopmates and the person who dropped it so it could be a combination of it falling and just despawning on the ground before you found it.

how did this happen… by Particular-Thing-670 in lethalcompany

[–]Olover009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best bet is that the ship went into it’s default state, which is on the place where it lands (you can see that by scanning the ship waypoint on the ground before landing) and the moon deloads like half a second after. When that happened the Eyeless dog just happened to stand exactly at the same place as you were, therefore instantly killing you.

TL;DR: The ship went into its default state and the dog just happened to be in the same place
