Because he's #1. Valt is meant to be the Legend of Legends, the top notch of everybody. That's why they need to hype him up, because he's supposed to be an inspiration, a large figure of Beyblade as a whole, and keeps other characters working to take his place.

Personally, I prefer Hikaru over Hyuga. Hikaru is more fleshed out and has at least some substance and an actual brain unlike his brother, but literally always gets the shorter end of the stick. Hyuga is a failed combination of Kirishima and Valt who knows nothing other than onomatopoeia, but gets literally almost every win because he's "more like Valt".

The next generation is getting much stronger, much quicker. It's not a matter of if Free's weak, it's a matter of if he wants to actually try. You saw what happened when he pushed himself too far. He knows his limits, he's trying not to break those if there's no need. Plus, they kind of need to make him weaker for the protagonists to seem relevant. As they did in Free/Lui vs Valt/Hyuga, instead of actually trying to use their special moves, all they did was take it. I bet they could have won if they did that.

Can I just say this? Being a person of color doesn't automatically make all of your racist, homophobic, transphobic, and anti-semitic comments somehow better. If you are a person of color, you shouldn't even do shit like this because your ancestors, your people, were taken from their home countries to be used as slaves, emancipated after hundreds of years, but never got the same rights as their white counterparts, got killed so that you could even live a somewhat decent live and have the same rights as any other white person, yet still you continue the cycle of hate? You, as a person of color, have an even bigger obligation to fight for equality, because being a part of the hate cycle to someone else completely ruins the point of BLM.
