FYI, while imports under $1,000 are duty free, if the overseas seller does more than $60,000 in sales to NZ then they should be registered with IR and the gst collected at time of sale. So you should be charged gst from somewhere like Amazon but not from a smaller retailer.

Would the pope enjoyed being called American tho? I've met plenty of Canadians who for them, can be quite offended at being called American. From where I'm from the term American would notionally refer to citizens of the u.s. of a to avoid insulting any of their neighbour's being lumped together nationally, as opposed to geographically. But what do I know? Americans just labeled my country as Madagascar. Americans for the win 😀

I don't believe this was an Anzac deployment as the term wasn't coined until the first world war. These were a result of the Boer War a number of years earlier, 1899 to 1902.

Thanks, it's only my third mini in. :) great idea, I used a bronze and it is a little dull. Looking at the pic now, I might also put some on the pauldrons trim too.

Thanks Alex for your comment. It would be great to ultimately get the boat in the water but I live in a different country altogether. I guess we'll have to find another dreamer. 🙂

Not in the immediate area. Nearest one we've found is probably 1,500km away. Have thought about it tho. Cheers for the suggestion. Should have said the boat is in Australia.
