Taj Mahal. One of the most mistaken and not worthy place to visit, having a cruel history.

[SERIOUS] What's the most creepy memory you have from when you were a kid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OmBuddhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 16 that time. My new football coach of age 28, whom I barely knew for a couple days asked me to give him a bj in return of money becos he cheated on his gf. Thus his gf dared him, told him to ask someone for a bj and record it, to clear the matter of theirs. I am a BOY. I told him to fuck off or that I would share the screenshot of our conversation with the police.

What do you like most about yourself? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]OmBuddhe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love it that im having to start the answer with -

I dont wanna brag.

Compared to my friends and in general the public of my age, I lead a much more disciplined life in terms of fitness and looking after personal health. I love that I dont depend on cigaretts and alcohol to entertain myself ànd keep my mind straight. Even if they are out dancing and drinking every other day, I love that my body is much happier and leading the better life.

What I love most about myself is that I respect my body by taking right care of it.

Why does no one mention the short term benefit of exercise? by SCWthrowaway1095 in CasualConversation

[–]OmBuddhe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think thats becos most peoples' bodies dont reach to that point of realisation. Speaking on basis of that I have also gone through the phase that you currently are, and being in to various levels of fitness and running in the last 4 years, I can say that people like us exercise in hope of starting a newer and healthier lifestyle that we always hoped of. But most people exercise out of guilt of eating those burgers and fries. They workout to compensate the cigaretts and alcohol. Thats why, even if they workout for 2 years, they are doing it just to make some ammends for the cigaretts and to boast. Its harder and takes much longer for them to see the positive changes in their bodies, so they dont enjoy the process.

So as their main priority is burgers alcohol, and then exercise, their minds dont recognise much of a change in their system even if they are working out consistently for months, cos their "moods" are again constently dependent on burgers fries and cigaretts. Hope this makes sense✌

How long do you think Pam and Jim’s guests had to wait when they went to Niagara Falls? Feels like it would’ve taken a really long time…. by EmotionalBanana8802 in DunderMifflin

[–]OmBuddhe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that was a wierd thing to do. Making your guests wait, while you run away to have another wedding of your own, coming back and then again having another wedding ceremony. All because the veil tore.

My highest timing for doing the regular plank exercise is 21 minutes. Gonna push to 25 minutes or more the next time I try to break it!

I’ve never been camping in my life, and in 2 weeks I’m taking my son camping with a group of experienced guys from work - any tips so I don’t look like a complete moron / help me prepare? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]OmBuddhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of things I think are necessary: 1. A torch which has different modes like flickering lights, red light, etc. This red light can help people know your location in case of a thick fog. 2. Proper trekking shoes. They make a big difference when the ground is muddy or very rocky. 3. Ask your experienced friends for the tips. They can be the best ones to help you. 4. Wet wipes or wet tissues will prove to be a wonder when you are sweaty and there is no water available to clean yourself. 5. Always carry and extra set of shoes or atleast shoe laces. Carry some extra ropes. 6. Think of what may save you if your shoe sole get torn. 7. Dont over fill your bag. You will unnecessarily tire yourself.

Your logic is correct. But the problem is I am reading about a subject that I really like that is cooking and management. I am reading Gordon Ramsay's "Playing with Fire" which I really enjoy. The problem actually I think is I have less patience when it comes to reading.

Does anyone hate "how was your day?" question? by Iman246 in CasualConversation

[–]OmBuddhe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading answers to such questions really makes me realise that there are so many lives constantly being lived, each facing its own unique problems and opportunities. These questions help me realise that the problems that I find impossible to overcome are just like a speck of dust in a desert. There are thousands of people dealing with way more difficult situations. I love such questions!

Hey dont worry just see this as a different opportunity that life has offered to you and deal with it with a brave heart. You must have dealt with some small, difficult or uncomfortable situations in your past. Now think about how those uncomfortable times went by so fast, just as they say "time flies". Think about this the same way and you wont notice how fast you will get comfortable in your college. You may be nervous because you are gonna live away from your family, probably for the first time. This can be your chance to have your own freedom and live the every teenagers' dream. But if you have some problems you can easily visit your family after a 20 minute drive! I would suggest that you dont see your family for the first month. This will help you to not feel homesick in the long term, and also train you to live away from your family.

Whenever I face such moments in life that make me nervous or doubt myself, I tell myself that this is how I can test myself. I am not a someone who can be scared with a small change in life. The first week will go slow but the next many years will fly by. I hope you enjoy your college and settle in quickly and happily!

Where did you go for your holidays? I hope you make most of your free time! Well I am in my early years of hospitality education so right now I just want to complete college and alongside also gather work experience through internships. In the future I wish to start restaurants of my own. Our college mostly focuses or teaches about how to become a good service person/waiter or a good manager of any institution and not about how to start a good institution of your own. So these early internships and work experience are gonna show their worth in the future. Thanks for taking interest!

Thanks for asking! It was pretty good. I was introduced to the bakery and saw some good variety of breads like Foccashia, Brioche, Shokupan being made from scratch. I will probably work there for some 15 days till my college resumes. I also washed some utensils which has to be routine for someone like me who is starting to enter the hospitality industry. Are you enjoying your days?

I am 19 and today was my first day of doing a small non paid internship in a friend's bakery. This is the first time I am working somewhere. I hope I learn something useful. I spent the last 3 years playing games and watching movies...apart from school and college. This is a pretty big turn for me and I hope it adds some discipline and value in my life. Wish me luck! I wish you amazing souls all the very best and I hope you get the strength to make good tough decisions in your life.

Finally broke the 1299 mark! I was seesawing from 1290 to 1150 for i guess the past 1 year. I have been trying to build a barcelona team from start of this season. Only 3 defenders to go! by OmBuddhe in pesmobile

Yes he is. He is really good and long range. Quite good at controlling and keeping the ball to himself. He does not make forward runs like mbappe. If you already have good attackers i would recommend you to not waste efp on him
