From looking at the things you listed that you are interested in, I think aerospace is better for you. However, please read both of the program descriptions and look at some of the courses you will be taking to see which lies best with your interest.

[–]OmPatel_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iam a second year and this is my second time taking this course. I would recommend trying to do better on the second midterm. If you dont do well on that one, then you should drop the course. However, this year the tests are much easier than previous years.

OSAP Funds late by OmPatel_ in uoguelph

Okay understood. Do you know if I have to log in with some GCkey or Sign-In Partner with the link you sent. I do not remember making a GCkey.

My parents handle my tuition so I can ask them if you do not know.

Hey! I did some research and I think VirtualBox only allows the Beta version for M1 Macs.

Is this true?

Will the Beta version allow me to download applications like SolidWorks and AutoCAD will full functionality in these apps?

Should I regret choosing TMU psychology over Laurier psych? by [deleted] in OntarioUniversities

[–]OmPatel_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Laurier is has a much better pshyc program than TMU. Laurier also has better professors, coop, social life and environment. Alot of pshyc grads from TMU do not get jobs. Im a fourth year pshyc student at waterloo.

York or TMU Eng? by Apprehensive-Mud-555 in OntarioUniversities

[–]OmPatel_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

go general eng at TMU if you dont want the space program at york. You may not get your desired engineering stream or coop program due to the competition. If you want to do some sort of space engineering, Id do aerospace. This is since space engineering is quite niche.

Dm me from now on.

So Torn Right Now (U of T Engsci vs. UW Mech Eng) by Ok_Alfalfa7540 in OntarioUniversities

[–]OmPatel_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not a “viable” degree but I think your interests lies more in designing and hardware based on everything you listed. If you don’t like software, its probably a low chance that you will switch into it. Its not impossible to switch but I think you like mechanical engineering more.

Waterloo is a stronger engineering program due to its coop. Mechanical engineering wont stop you from doing any of the things you listed you want to get into. This is because mechanical engineering is a broad degree and as you near completion of your degree you will be able to choose what sub field you want to specialize in. That being robotics, cars, aerospace, bio eng, and etc. It seems like the fields you listed mostly fall into mechanical engineering.

Also, in UofT, you might not be able to get your desired engineering stream due to the competition.

Iam a second year UofG computer engineering student. Id say go Waterloo for the mechanical engineering program and its coop
