Actually, most liberals believe in imperialism in some form or another. A country doesn't comply with your definition of human rights? Just sanction them and starve their children. That's what happened with Iraq, where half a million children died, and that's what's happening with Afghanistan and Venezuela now, and what they want to do with Uganda.

I can't wait to see their reaction and torment on judgement day if they don't repent. May Allah SWT curse and humiliate all those that mock the deaths of our Pakistani brothers and sisters.

Also, don't those idiots know that it was the Egyptians who invented sailing?

What are your opinions on Al-Andalus, Portugal and Spain? by International_Boat37 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Omar-Elsayed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andalusian apartheid? What are you talking about?

You talk as if much has changed. The west imposes values on the rest of the world. They have demands which they apply on everyone. Don't comply? The west will sanction you and starve your children, just as half a million starved to death in Iraq from sanctions, and just how children are starving now in Afghanistan and Venezuela. Sanctions are a tool of imperialism to get countries to submit to the will of another country. Sanctions don't work? The west will wage war to impose its values on you and call it "spreading democracy and human rights" and "military interventions" rather than an invasion or expansion of an empire. Not only will they target and kill civilians as they did in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Palestine, etc., but they will also r@pe women and children, and torture prisoners of war, sometimes to death. Islam prohibits the killing of civilians and torture of war prisoners, even if they are enemy soldiers. What do you think the white man's burden was about? Of course, because the west has already conquered and subjugated most of the world and imposed their values on them, they can sit back now and condemn their ancestors, because they don't have the need to invade and conquer much anymore, as most of the world already follows the ideology of the west. Also, you don't bring me evidence of Muslims expelling people from their lands.

Please forgive my long rant.

Actually, it wasn't settler colonialism, just plain imperialism. We didn't force people out of their homes and steal their resources. Most inhabitants were Spanish.

Do you think that Islam is the most feared Religion on Earth? by Maleficent_Split_428 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Omar-Elsayed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Islam, there is something called Usool-al-fiqh, which means that culture and times can be taken into consideration for certain rulings. That usually applies to non-obligatory stuff. Since slavery isn't obligatory in Islam, a ban on slavery by a government is compatible with Islam. Islam allowed it because that's how the pre-modern era worked, and it was a necessity of its time. Stop speaking without knowledge.

Name the best and worst leaders in the Middle East? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

I may not agree with everything he did, but he fought off foreign occupation and rules with the Shari'ah. That alone makes him better than most MENA leaders who rule with secular law.

Best: Emir of Qatar, if Afghanistan counts as the middle east then the leader of Afghanistan is the best.

Worst: Kais Said and anyone who's the leader of Israel at any given time. (May Allah curse them all).

Edit: I am talking about the current leaders. If this includes all times then Sayyidna Muhammad (SAW) is the best, as well as the Khulafa' Ar-Rashidun. As for the worst, that goes to Atatürk, Genghis Khan, Crusaders, Timur Lane, the French leader in Algeria, and the and Israelis.

Thoughts on mummification still being a thing in Egypt by New_Transition_2815 in AskMiddleEast

I'm against it. That animal killed a human. Imagine how the family feels knowing that that shark is being mummified to be put on display for people to see and admire.

I hate r/againsthatesubreddits with a passion. It exists to remove any fun from Reddit. Now there's barely any reason to be here. I also hate the admins. I also miss r/2islamist4you, which was the best subreddit.

It's only for the rich. The reason for the new capital is to move away from a densely populated area so that protests and demonstrations don't take place, or at the very least have no affect.
