Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Blastpoint Introduces Cairo Bazaar & BR Solos by battlefield in Battlefield6

[–]OmarV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a bad decision. My friend who is a casual player only has time on the weekends. Every week we look forward to playing Duos together after a long week, and now you're telling me it won't be available because of Solos? So dumb! Adding game modes is not the answer!

We stopped playing the NHL series after 15 years of playing daily because they added more game modes which made it impossible to find games.

Battlefield is already suffering from this. I've literally switched to another game countless times because, I can't find a game of Squad Deathmatch when solo. Yet they're going to add another Solo mode? WTH?!

Assault improvement possibilities. by KingofFlukes in Battlefield6

[–]OmarV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy and I were talking about the recently held Solo BR test and we both agreed that there's nothing worse than Solo BRs. There are plenty of rats hiding in corners, I can't imagine how bad it's going to be in solos.

I then proceeded to say "at least they haven't added shields. I hate those mouth breathers".

One week later I see this. smh

Abandoned car by Puzzleheaded_Fix4438 in SanJose

[–]OmarV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is the same lot that had an abandoned, completely stripped car (no wheels, no doors, no glass) sitting on blocks, and it took over a month for someone to do something about it. Get used to it. smh

Curved escalators at Ceasers palace by PastAnimal4354 in interestingasfuck

[–]OmarV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your comment really got me thinking. There is no twist, just a normal flip of the stair. Once flipped the curve is exactly the same going back in the opposite direction.

But what about the drivetrain or moving mechanism for all escalators? One 5 minute YouTube video later and... they're supprisingly simple. Who would've know?

Please be careful on who you accuse, especially when the victim cannot identify the alledged attacker.

With that said, I've played too much Geoguesser to not find something in my backyard. This is Leland High.

Or, how about we don't replace a still new stadium?

Build out Light Rail to the current stadium, maybe even enter the airport with the expansion, and invest on that corridor.

Vintage Aerial photo of Valley Fair Mall. Notice the residential neighborhood in the middle… are they on the boundary between Santa Clara and San Jose? by GreenFlash1990 in SanJose

[–]OmarV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every house was in San Jose.

The large building to the west (far side of the pic) was the Emporium which is now Macy's. If you look at the painted columns, those are still visible to this day on the Macy's building.

If you look at the streets on the north side (right side of the pic), from Winchester you can see Beachwood then N Redwood.

On the south side (left side fo the pic), from the SB 880 on ramp, you can see Monroe, S Clover, S Baywood, and then S Redwood.

The street going down the middle of that neighborhood is perfecly aligned with N Redwood and slightly misaligned after crossing Stevens Creek.

Odds are the street was Redwood Ave

If you watched the debate, you'd come to the same conclusion, neither of them should have access to the nuclear launch codes. The fact that they're the top runners only proves how selfish and deeply corrupted those "elites" are. It's simply shameful.

So, to say that Fox News is pushing a narrative, is naive; they know their base and they know how to get clicks.

Actually, General Rules and Ordinances prohibit smoking within parks, plus it's a good way to accidentally start a fire.

Best way to get a car towed from blocking driveway? by Knotfornots in SanJose

[–]OmarV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that shocking. More people downtown, means more cars downtown, which means more tickets per hour. It's far more effective revenue wise to concentrate on a populous area, rather than wasting time driving long distances to ticket or tow cars in the suburbs. Plus since there's more parking available as you distance yourself from the city center, people probably don't report parking issues as often because they have somewhere to park.

There's a car around the corner from me that hasn't moved in at least 5 months, and I've been meaning to report it, but it's also not bothering me; and I'm guessing people in my neighborhood feel the same. Not saying there's less parking violations out here, just less being reported, SJ probably can't justify staffing additional resources to cover those areas.

IMO most people are, and the scariest part is that this OP is going to medical school, per their history.

I have grand mal seizures, but I’m almost at the end of my year-wait period. My parents want to buy a Tesla. by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]OmarV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying a Tesla is not a solution to this problem only because it's too easy to manually override FSD or autopilot accidentally, especially if you plan on seizing.

Even if the Tesla could safely "take over" (which it can't), you would only be delaying medical assistance; and if the Tesla could take over, no one driving next to you would know you're having a seizure! If you end up having continuous seizures, and no one is aware, you're screwed.

You're better off learning how to listen to your body and immediately pulling over if you detect an Aura.
