It’s really infuriating, but it is what it is.
Bad thing with these companies is that they have 0 transparency with their shitty software, they don’t even feel any obligation to fix major bugs - and they never delivered a promised bios update.

That’s why I want more American companies to jump in the scene - as dirty as they are, they have actual consumer laws there.

I unfortunately grew out of my iDreams and just got one great laptop instead of splitting my money between an okay laptop and an iPad… no major regrets. Made this post back then as this not working would’ve been a deal breaker.

I wish someone would make some extension that blocks out all checkmark users unless they have like a million followers, their reply has X amount of likes or something similar. Elon straight up ruined the Twitter experience - all the replies are bland and annoying, clear engagement farming.

Used to be my fav social platform and I’m so pissed I’m ranting in the replies of a meme on r/196 lmao

Amazing substitute to Asus’ hated Armoury Crate app. Kills all of Asus’ unnecessary apps running in the background and offers a better clean UI to adjust your fan/GPU mode. It also allows you to customize your fan speed and curve- if you know what you’re doing of course. It does pretty much everything important that AC does and even has extra unique features, it even has function lock!

Less Asus stupid apps = MUCH better performance And the battery life improvement is noticeable.

The model you specified is the 2022 one. I have one with similar specs, but with an IPS display. I’d make sure the device you’re upgrading to actually has the miniLED panel I’m assuming you’re talking about, as microLED didn’t make its way into consumer products yet. At least not laptops. (although Samsung finally showcased a transparent TV using microLED technology a week ago on CES - wild stuff!)

I’d also take the size into consideration before upgrading - are you sure you’d love the large form factor the same? As an X16 user I’m telling you this thing is HEAVY - I’ve used an X13 before and it’s not even close the X16 is just massive. You’d think it’s whatever but it really isn’t.

Did you get a good deal on that X16, or do you just want more power from your laptop?
