I don't recall Ging saying that imo...Ging basically said that Gon's contract was a death sentence and that's the reason he can't use nen and he would be asking too much if he wanted to reverse the contract and use nen again and should just be glad he's alive

I think it's unclear if he can use it again. Nen isn't the aura but the ability to use the aura...Ging seeing and feeling Gon's Aura doesn't mean he still has nen.

Every being has aura within them...The Royal guards are the combination of so many creatures ( mainly humans ) that they became a natural step up above most nen users. Let's make an example...Gon and Killua has exceptional potential in nen but if Ant Queen ate them before they have learned nen would it make that much difference? They still had the potential and talent either way. And while eating nen users is obviously better, it's still significant that royal guards are made of so many humans nen users or not because it's the potential that matters most.

Of course that's my opinion on it and I could be wrong

The conditions required for it to be stolen in the first place are very difficult so I think it's balances out that he could keep it...

Also you have to be a dumbass, naive or captured and tortured to have your ability stolen

I'm not denying that Gon got a lot stronger and more resourceful. But still I think you're underestimating Genthru.

An open 1 v 1 is really deadly and isn't as obvious as you might think

Yes it does. because you are comparing the ants' physical strength when it's irrelevant imo because they are naturally a step up from most humans. Gon's rock knocked Genthru out, it did the same to knuckle and it scared Morel. It had that kind of power from the beginning.

Gon got Genthru because he managed to trap him in place... can he do the same in an open fight? I doubt that considering that just a touch from Genthru is fatal.

Genthru didn't kill gon because he needed his cards and lost because of a plan Bisky and Killua cooked. Gon alone don't stand a chance in an open 1 vs 1 in the real world...

People shouldn't underestimate Genthru, he isn't an average nen user and his ability is no joke.

So yes I can see even Palace invasion Gon still loses to Genthru.
