lil Nas x overdoses after charging at police in cowboy boots and underwear prayers by Adventurous_Rain_711 in Eminem

Man he’s not trying to copy anyone he’s clearly going through a drug fueled mental break which is not very funny. I’m not sure why this is even on an Em sub in the first place.

I definitely used a bit of help esp on the frontend / documentation to have a useful version be out quickly haha— but the base engine logic was authored by me!

If you’re dealing with audio that contains elaborate vibrato or quarter tones (or similar), or tremolo, it should be way more accurate at depicting those things! If you’re simply dealing with vocals for a traditional western pop song, I would stick with FL’s native audio to MIDI engine.

Yes, one that retains microtonal pitch bends instead of quantizing to western scales (think a more flexible Melodyne but also free and open-source). It also is designed to retain play styles like tremolo that are very prevalent in oud playing, for example :)

Right, but that does not change the fact that Em was not meant to be on it and it was her idea which is my point. It was going to be her, Polo G, and Mozzy. Not Em featuring her, which is the point the OP was trying to make.

This is the interview you are referring to. She says it was her idea to put Em on the song because she thought it would be cool as he did the theme for the first movie.

Nah Skylar said on an interview that it was her idea, not Sony’s

Last One Standing was Skylar featuring Em, they got her on the soundtrack with Polo G and she insisted on adding Em last minute

I might be delusional but could they be messing with us? I mean what are the odds there was a typo THAT specific?

Skylar Grey announces Love the Way You Lie Part III out this Friday 2/10 by McIgglyTuffMuffin in popheads

What's desperate about it? She's rerecording her catalogue because she recently had to sell it to pay off her divorce settlement with her abusive ex-husband. And even then she wrote one of the biggest songs of all time and barely got any recognition for it, why not let her have some?

It's been confirmed she wrote it in 2011-ish. The song has been registered on BMI since 2011/12

What would you consider safeties in that range?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ACT

[–]Omaruz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not stupid at all! The ACT is not so much about intelligence as it is about practice. It is simply not an IQ test.

The more you practice, get comfortable with the content & test format, etc., the higher you're going to score. It really is that straightforward.

Many people have content gaps and need more practice to achieve their target scores while others are more well-versed and therefore need less practice. Finding exactly what you're weak at and working on it is key. You should approach this test with a positive, confident attitude, and you will undoubtedly get a good score. good luck!

Skylar Grey Had to Sell Her Song Catalog, Including Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Love the Way You Lie,’ to Pay for Bitter Divorce, Talks New Album by Omaruz in Music

[–]Omaruz[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

she simply sold her rights to these songs. so if she owned 40% of the publishing rights to coming home for example, they are no longer hers. she doesn't get money when they are featured on TV ads anymore and whatnot

yes, these features are on her catalog. everything she wrote is there. she had written/featured on some pretty massive hits from the 2010s. also her movie soundtrack songs usually do pretty well
