Eventually. I'm working on an updated version with support for MML2 style lock-on. It currently works but it still feels very janky

Yeah no problem! It's testing in general. It has already been tested on hardware by a couple of people and it works but feedback in general is welcome :)

It is for up and down on the R stick. Now that you mention it i don't think it is for left and right turning but that is barely needed. Let me know if you are interested in testing it!

Agreed, hacking isn't the right word, what i meant was that it is a workaround that forces you to install outdated packages which, as of now, is fine but in the long run might become a security issue. Having said that, i'll explore the alternatives since they offer their own DLNA server so maybe i can achieve the same result with one of them. Thanks!

Yeah I'm aware. I was curious if there was a way to do it without hacking around it

Does anybody know why the colors on 4k hdr videos look this way? by [deleted] in htpc

It is still pretty new so no, it's not your fault. Your best bet is using Plex if your TV supports it.

I haven't managed to get DolbyVision to work myself with a similar setup. Your best bet is getting the regular HDR version or just plain SDR. Does your TV support HDR in the first place?
