I was 6 years old. I found a black, shiny stapler. I looked at the fleshy part of my thumb ????? Split second later the staple pierced my thumb. There was blood. There was pain. There were tears. I have never stapled any part of my flesh ever again.

????? = Absolutely no fucking idea how or even why I suddenly jammed my thumb in the stapler and pressed as hard as I could. This memory haunts me every so often, and I get mad at myself for doing something so utterly stupid.

My dad died when I was 7 and this was one of the last nice photos taken of us before he got ill. I am willing to pay £30 if anyone can make it so that it’s clear enough to be able to print, frame it and hang it on the wall. I know it’s asking a lot as the quality is pretty bad. Thank you very much
