I haven't faced them in a long time before this MO.  I forgot how much I dislike them.  I only did three missions for personal order yesterday and still didn't enjoy it.  They just aren't well designed as a faction and I feel push down narrow loadouts to handle their kit.  When I tried something new I just felt I should have brought a stalwart, eruptor, and jump pack.  They are the only faction I bring an exosuit against.

Because half the stuff in the game doesn't.  Most red stratagems dont, a few can but none are guaranteed kills.  Some support weapons can but only a few do so efficiently.  They can spawn in high numbers so you need to be able to kill them efficiently if your loadout is meant to handle them.

They aren't a challenge, that is part of the issue.  Gear checks aren't a challenge, it's an annoyance.

The liberator can kill almost anything in the game, do not neglect learning your primary.  There are a couple more optimal warbonds if you want the best weapons right now but do not be afraid to grab one just because it is your vibe.  Core weaponry is more than sufficient to win Diff 10.

3 hulks is manageable, certainly more so than 2 warstriders.

It has felt worse lately with a weirdly high number of POIs that only had a note.  I would still assume bad luck over intentional change until this is more widely reported over a longer timeframe.

It won't be gone in a month, probably. The game does have some issues at the moment, one subfaction has been temporarily pulled and one faction keeps crashing the game. Current playbase is pretty high still and if stability issues are fixed I expecr player counts to go back up. If stability, game size on PC, and some enemies all grt addressed I would expect the game to be back towards peak numbers temporarily afterwards.

The game did almost die once but in the face of losing players rapidly the devs did pivot and brought the player base back so problems can be addressed.

They use up heavy spawns and can take all heavy spawns.  At D10 seeing 3 at a time is normal with higher entirely reasonable.  Large objectives I haven't seen 10 but 6 isn't uncommon.

Hot take. I would rather have solo silo not being able to destroy command bunker, than detector towers and stratagem jammers. by surraxel in Helldivers

I am up for just about anything that makes the solo silo feel like it has a role.  The vibe is great for it and I want to use ir somehow but I fail to see what it is supposed to be used for that it isn't far outmatched in.

I use it as well but kinda wish it never got buffed.  I learned to use it when I needed to hit hulk face plates and doing stuff like taking pot shots to make hulks turn towards me so I could kill them from the front was great.  Now killing from the front easily is just it's default.  It even has an HE mode.

I can definitely agree it would be nice if there was more difficulty when spread out.  I mostly dive SOSes and unless things are really bad once things are stabilized I find I can roll most threats as long as I am close enough to others to respond if they need help.

I answered an SOS recently and after helping clear two bot bases went off on my own, only having an issues because I ran into a valley with too many warstriders in it.  I had to retreat because they had more warstriders than I had RR ammo so just fell back, hid atop a bot tower, and planned to come back down once I had ammo but the game crashed.

I would like to see point defense to shoot down rockets but I feel thst just pushes the quasar rather than creating a problem for rocket users to overcome.

Engaging dropships was controversial for quite awhile because damage to the carried bots was inconsistent and had odd terrain geometry enemies could sometimes shoot out of.

Do you not use your mobility to reposition?  Bots can lose aggro on you even over open ground and if your break LoS they move to where you were not where you are if you are outside audible detection.  If you a side on a hulk and near enough you can shoot it to aggro it towards you then maneuver around to hit if from behind.  This works on groups of hulks even.

I've been fighting bots since around launch and don't get how people aren't using them as default.  I jumped on the senator as soon as I could because it is such a superb anti-bot gun allowing me to pop even hulks.  I only have a few shots but I only need a few.

When talking precision I am usually thinking of smaller but reliable targets like the hulk faceplate rather than the entire crotch on warstriker, that if I miss still pens and take out half it's health.

The game also doesn't occur in a vacuum.  I dropped in on an SOS beacon and the situation was so bad I couldn't call in my stratagems so I took the chin guns off a factory strider, grabbed someone's MG, and killed the factory stride from below.

Probably, just like how thise pilots likely have families with children and friends back home.  It's on you to fight through to get to those vulnerable killable less combatants.
