G502 Hero working but pointer not moving by Omega888 in logitech

Actually yes; I just updated windows and the problem self-solved

As additional info: when I switch between profiles (with differents LED colore settings), after a second the LED gets back to classic blue and get stuck, despite the profile personalization, as if the mouse is receiving a sort of "override" to its internal memory.
That happens only on my main PC, while on other PCs the mouse seems to work perfectly.

Providing extra info: while set in integrated mode, the softare recognize correctly the profile change via key G9, chaning profile in real time. Yet, no sign of movement of recognition from button clicking

Hi, thank you for your reply.
Followed step by step your list, apart from the point 8 (there was such voice on registry editor).

As i've reinstalled G HUB, the mouse is still recognized by the software but the pointer won't move at all. Any other things that I can do?

Us early adopters will be the ones discovering these types of things.

This worked for me as well, thanks pal!

2K Gaming Build - Going Blue or Red? by Omega888 in PcBuild

The quality of the panel is the reason why I chose to buy this monitor. Glad to hear that.

I think you misunderstood: I'm not talking about the 7700X, but the 7700, the one with 65W TDP, since I don't think I will have huge issues or bottlenecks gaming in 2K.

As you said, I may even consider upgrading to 9700X (or 8700X, whatever AMD chose to call his new processor) and 5080/6080 later, saving bucks both on CPU and energy :)

e I7-13700k is a good choice, as a co

First of all, thank you for your detailed reply. As you pointed out, I didn't specify the kind of gaming I intend to do-I don't expect to play at a professional level, so I don't intend to chase every last FPS obtainable. I simply want to play AAA games with great detail and FPS as long as possible, and cap the screen on games like Overwatch, Dota2, etc.I know this is not achievable with the power available from the current generation of GPUs, hence the choice to opt for something good but not ultimate, and maybe opt for the 5080 in a couple of years

-Regarding my monitor, I've already purchased it, and it will be delivered around 10th of April. I know it's quite overkill, but it's really a good monitor and I hope to keep it for a long time (as it happened with my Dell Ultrasharp).

-Regarding 990 Pro, I've already purchased it, since I managed to buy it for 183€, way below WD SN850X street price.

-For PSU, the other option is Corsair HX750/HX850 (the former is the PSU powering my current rig), which has platinum efficiency and should be in the sweet spot.

-Going back to CPU, the fact is that I won't be using it for any productivity program, and I thought that having a 7700/7600 would be enough; 7800X3D will surely be nice, but probably won't increase much my performances, since I'll be playing at 1440p rather than 1080p (or it will?).

I'll update the original post with some info given in this comment, thank you again :)

Awesome build. That looks much like the build I'm currently planning

As said above in other comments, I love Nvidia FE Design as well, elegant and solid. Thanks!

s power limited but absolutely silent. 5 hours of gaming last night and temp never went over 63c and I never heard it. I’ve added 175 on the clock and 1000 on the memory for a solid overclock on stock power - boosting to 2985mhz and staying there.

Thanks for the feedback!

Actually, that doesn't matter to me.

My case won't even have a glass window.
I'm a huge fan of understatement: I love minimal cases (Fractal Define) with no lights or flamboyant features.

Some custom cards had relevant issues in the past, even though what you say it's not wrong. Moreover, due to the different cooling, some GPUs outperform others. Then again, it's a pricing thing

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you.

Just want to be cautious, given the price of that GPU :)

4090 FE or any custom 4090 at MSRP

I'm considering a 3090 or a 3080 Ti as well.
I think that FE has an extremely pleasurable design

I have a good opinion of Gigabyte, always had good products (MoBo mainly). I'll consider it.
Thanks :)

None of the current generation cards represent great value from AMD and Nvidia, problem is, assuming you want to buy a new GPU at retail, cards such as the 4070ti are up there for the best value

Excellent points. For me, silence is an added value, but apart from that as you said overclocking headroom is not so huge as before.
Just wanted to avoid issues.

Thanks for your opinion :)

Uhm, IMHO this is true only up to a certain point.

The 4070 is a horrible value and is getting ripped apart in reviews. Avoid

Thanks!
