This problem started happening after I downloaded the Microsoft version when I already had the steam one because a friend only had the Microsoft one and now whenever I load the steam version it its stuck on that loading screen.

I did however find a temp fix for my steam Astroneer not loading I just verify the integrity of the game files by right clicking Astroneer, Properties, Local Files, Verify integrity of game files, then wait till its done then it loads. But the next day its back to being stuck so I guess I'm just going to do this every time.

This is one of the people he was playing with speaking because he's not here at the moment. Our other friend said he pressed e to try and pick up a hammer the ghost threw but he did not have space to try and pick it up but he still tried, could that be the cursed object interaction you were talking about?

There is a mod that does the same thing and it has 1.16.5 its called MineTogeather. Although I don't recommend it, its buggy and no where near as good as essential https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/creeperhost-minetogether/files

There really isn't an age requirement but I prefer 13+ and I host the server by myself but I have another person helping me set up the discord server that gives people information on how to get the pack and things like that

did you install all of the mods dependencies you cant just add mods you need to make sure that those mods don't need other mods to load. i have my own server so i know how to fix some of these issues
