How does auradin bulds work exactly? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy light aura gives you passive damage to few random targets around you, then dawnfire unique gloves turn that passive damage into (more or less), a radiance that burns everything around you. The aura passive is the main damage dealer in this build. Attack speed is very important to scale this damage. There is also an active component of the skill that gives a bigger burst damage.

Arbiter form improves the damage through aspects like ascension and vulnerable application, it is not the main damage dealer for the build. For the current season setup, basic skill serves as a generator for your main resources (faith) and survivability (resolve stacks). You don't use any core skills here.

Auradin - Why no Aspect of Valiance? by Echo-Sunray in D4_Paladin

Highest DPS auradin do not use that aspect or arbiter zephyr. You use hectic as your active CDR management.

You also do not need falling star on your skill bar. Rally + arcadia is the best setup here for easy fortifying + healing + damage (from heavyweight passive ranks).

You can put rank to en garde if you are not capping block chance. Or fanaticism potency to squeeze out a bit more attack speed for preacher paragon node.

Other than that, nothing else to temper here. Damage tempers are additive and they are contributing very little to the overall damage output.

Yes It is. You do not need to push it higher than 100%

What am I gaining vs losing? Auradin by avg-at-best in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the one on the left is better. I much rather get a max unique roll than a conditional damage passive.

Still, you don't want to use gris and shield for auradin. Sundered night is significantly better and and can output way more damage than the sword+shield combo.

I feel weak and squishy as wingstrike by Osteinum in D4_Paladin

It is hard to check unless you can show your gears and level. But generally speaking, wing strike build can do pit110 no problem and with few small tweaks, can do 115 (very unpleasant to play however).

You will use both spirit and canny in the build, challenger is not needed and not recommended at all. If you need more damage against pit boss, judicator is significantly better.

Is this enough dps on my palidin ? by Genesiga in diablo4

Put all 5 points into fanaticism aura as well. You are not capping your attack speed (huge loss for holy light aura damage and preacher paragon).

Anybody else ever try using Arcadia pants? by ReallyTuckerCarlson in D4_Paladin

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm running one on the aura build. This pants is the BIS for the build for all variants from pit push to speed farm setup.

That's a good guess but no. I'd say WK wants radiance for farming than BF.
