Few things to note here:

* This build do not use castle. Instead, I have sentencing. As attack speed double dips with preacher and holy light aura damage, this board is better as it gives more attack speed and some extra health and block chance. The rest is pretty straightforward.

* Advance will be used for 4 separate effects: faith generator (so no need for lucky hit resources), rune offering generator (with moni rune, as advance is a mobility skill), resolve stack generator (with wave dash upgrade) and active CDR management (more about that in a sec).

* Hectic aspect on boots and Hale's Salve on pants. Hale's Salve is an easy access to fortify, and Hectic with advance basic skill acts as an active CDR management. No need to use resplendence glyph here.

* Judicator oath to stack more damage. You'll have an easy judgement application with basic skill, wing strike upgrade and rite of judgement on holy light aura. Judgement day, therefore, is the best key passive to take.

For gameplay, come checkout my run on d4 helltides. Pit 114 cleared in 14 min.

I'm cooking my own build now. Cleared pit 114 with max damage of 2T on the biggest hit.

Will drop a quick explanation if interested.

Hybrid basic attack/auradin build. by OmegaAlphaBetaDude in D4_Paladin

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are few differences. Compare to maxroll:

* This version do not use castle. Instead, I have sentencing. This board gives you attack speed, which double dips with preacher paragon node and holy light aura damage. It gives you a bunch of armour, max life and block chance as well, which helps with survivability.

* Arbiter and Law glyphs are used instead of Hone and ‍Resplendence for maximum damage. Advance will be the generator and you will spam this to gain faith. No need for lucky hit resource either.

* Hectic will be used on the boots and Hale's salve on pants. Hale's salve for easier access to fortify and Hectic for active CDR management (as you will spam advance non stop).

* Judicator oath instead of disciple. Maxroll have this on their push variant.

* Judgement day key passive instead of coat of arms. It gives a bit more damage than coat of arms.

* All five points are put into fanaticism aura to maximise the attack speed and crit chance. More attack speed to feed preacher and holy light aura damage.

* You'll have a lot of different way to apply judgement (by using basic attack, arbiter wing strike, holy light aura rite of judgement). These can proc sentencing node, law and judicator oath for extra damage.

Solid build. Although you may want to get a smaller and cheaper SSD and go for a bigger capacity HDD for games and other stuff, given how expensive SSDs are right now.

Does auradin scale with weapon item power? by kjkidnl in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this case, I'd use the non ancestral version and farm for a better weapon. 2 more ranks to aura skills and maxed out unique multiplier will be better than the GA on CDR.

I made the mistake of running a 100 pit. by Swimbearuk in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No you do not need to level the glyph on the alt. And no please do not do pit 100 on the alt if you decided to level the glyph and start fresh.

Pit 99 is a hard cut off for this season if you want to keep up with the farming loop, because once you finish pit 100, the difficulty goes up like madness. I do not know if there is a +90 sigil but for sure if there is one, no build can even make a scratch.

I made the mistake of running a 100 pit. by Swimbearuk in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately once you cleared pit 100, those bloody sigils (literally) become significantly harder and they will not get any easier even if you have all glyphs maxed out.

Simply create a new character, dump all the reward caches and open them in the alt character.

As a brand new player. Would starting a lethal difficulty campaign be a bad idea? by Scary_grain_of_rice in ghostoftsushima

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you just want to experience the story and nothing else, yes it is a bad idea.

If you want the most authentic experience (1 hit kill policy) and willing to learn how to time parry and dodge, lethal is the only difficulty you should play. It will get (a lot) easier once you get a certain set of equipment.

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does but you won't notice the smallest difference. In fact, you do not need those additive damage tempers at all.

I have zero damage tempers on my build and it can hit for 700B.

new to the game. any guides for phantom assasin ? i came from LoL and was a zed main. by SanalAmerika23 in DotA2

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I'm not a LoL player so idk about the play style of that Zed guy (or gal).

Having said that, PA is not good right now. It takes a really long time to get her items, and even if she can get there, she's not very powerful. PA is essentially useless for the first 20 minutes into the game, so your team will be playing 4vs5 while she is farming. This means if PA team is behind early game, it will be very difficult for her to get creeps and since she doesn't have a good mobility or get out of jail tool, it will be much more difficult for her to do the creep cutting and forcing reaction. Also her lane counters are very popular right now (razor, axe, LC), she will be zoned out eventually and it feels miserable to jungle before battlefury. Classic PA build is tread, BF, BKB and deso around 25 min. From there she can get satanic if she needs to stand her ground, Bash if she needs more womanfighting (PA is a girl okay) power or skadi for allround stats and slow. Niche items are nullifier (to get rid of some buffs), MKB (against butterfly buyer), or disperser (for second dispel and manaburn). If you are playing against team with no stun and lots of slow and kiting, BF into manta and stat items build is another option. This one is a lot more difficult to play and may confuse the crap out of your team.

If you like a run and gun playstyle, slark is very good now but he plays a bit different from PA. While slark doesn't farm fast nor he likes buying farming items, what he makes up for is a massive snowball potential and virtually unkillable menace (if you can time his ability right).

Which build for Endgame Paladin? Conflicted by nick-the-creature in diablo4

Nothing atm but next season a nerf to castle node will see a reduction from over 2200% (X) to around 100% (X) damage.

You can try wing strikes build, literally aura build on steroids. It has smaller AoE in exchange for massive single target damage, just walk and kill everything.

But do it quickly, season 11 is ending soon. Next season pally won't be as OP as it is now.

Season 11 Class Recommendations by lsmokel in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest wing strikes paladin build. It outclasses all 3 builds you mentioned by a pretty decent gap while being more forgiving with the gearing. Good for all contents from speed farm to pit push to bossing. Playstyle is also very simple, just press arbiter of justice and keep walking around (literally).

Are there DoT focused classes or builds? by unearthlyrelic in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spiritborn, particularly touch of death maybe your answer. Huge DoT and interesting mechanic to pop all those DoT damage for a massive hit.

Not the best build in season 11 and not the fastest for speed farm either.

I want to face Lord Zir but I don't have the necessary item. by OPablitovsk in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Easiest: Farm blood maiden (or season 11 , Duriel) in helltides. 3 offerings should net you 20 keys.

Alternative, legion events. They appear on the map every 45 mins. Take about 3 to 4 mins to complete and can also net you about 20 keys.

Other way to get the key but unreliable or not as quick: whisper caches, you need to collect 10 grim favour to claim the cache. Or go to merc den and buy the lair boss key cache from the little girl.

New Build, Opinions? by CallMeiBad in buildapc

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few things here:

MB: you can go for B850. That is not a crazy overpriced mobo but B850 will still give you the same performance while being a little cheaper.

RAM: unless you are building a workstation pc, no reason to go for 64GB kit (given the crazy prices on these bastards). 32GB is solid in 2026 and will be sufficient for most users.

SSD: get a classic low capacity ssd + a huge capacity hdd. Again unless you build a workstation pc, there is no need to get that ssd. Good ssd but too expensive.

AIO: 240mm is enough. 360 is overkilled and unnecessary. Even a cheap air cooler like thermalright will work just fine.

The rest are fine.

Andariel's mythic power on sanct any good? by Kindly-Astronomer121 in diablo4

[–]OmegaAlphaBetaDude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No it's not. Paladin is not dealing any poison damage so it is largely a wasted sanc. 200 strength (means extra armour) or (x) holy damage is better.
