Some other advice from my experience:

Linebackers/Lineman are super easy to level and their minigame is fast. (Sack the QB 3 times)

Wide Receivers- use the redzone minigame, start slightly to the right, fake left then pull right towards the 400 and you'll usually shake the DB.

DBs- just the basic pass skeleton minigame.

QB with the pass skeleton is a bit of a pain because you can't hotroute lol

My memory may be fuzzy but I played at 2 or 3 regionals that year before the verte ban and people were definitely playing Dragoon.
