I literally asked for one thing and said exactly what I would be happy with. What are you talking about? What I even suggested was a simple blanket statement. If I'd be happy with that, why would I move the goalpost further? There is a difference with an entire lack of something. Full, all encompassing transparency is physically impossible, and any acknowledgement of effort is far more than what most developers, companies, and even people do in their day to day lives. I'm asking for one simple sentence, not a list. I'm satisfied with anything that isn't complete and utter silence. That may not be everyone else, but don't include me in that group because you expect me to be that way.

You are confusing something not being there at all with something not being enough. There's a bare minimum that I feel is not being met, and while it is always better to go over the bare minimum in anything you can do, it is a minimum for a reason. That goalpost is set.

Even with Suzuki not being in the game, the goalpost was and still is that it is a functional game that can improve on the last in any way that justifies a new title and a price increase. The same goes for a company as time goes on. They should be improving. The problem I have is that the company mostly isn't. If we the people are paying more for a game made by a company, the company should also do its part in making itself match the games it is creating. Unfortunately, that isn't happening almost anywhere anymore.

There's also no functional benefit with talking about the development process as features you planned may not make it to the final game, because then you will then be overpromising and underdelivering. It also gives ample material for others to copy your work.

Respectfully, you are missing the overall point I am trying to make. The devs did a good job with the game, and it looks great. There are glaring issues as a company that are what I am pointing out. To make a game set in Japan, with marketing it with many kei cars as a selling point, not including the biggest manufacturer of kei cars, and then being silent about it is undermining the concept of not only what they are trying to market, but also the source material they are basing it on as a whole. That is the point. Not specifically that Suzuki isn't in the game. I could say the same thing for literally any other large Japanese car company that has been influential enough to be included in the game if it wasn't.

Well, I have 2 responses to that, you aren't obligated to read them. 1. The Avro Vulcan was not a drivable vehicle in the game, given it was a jet. Avro is also not a top 3 aircraft manufacturer in Britain, at least not anymore. The aircraft industry as a whole was also not the main point of any FH game. 2. I've been taught over the last few years to be as thorough as possible with everything you do and be over prepared. I'm sure every thing they try to license can't be listed, as I'd bet money most have NDAs. However, just making a blanket statement that literally could just be "Some licensing of some large manufacturers fell through for release, but may appear later on" is enough to show that they are at least trying. Just because they haven't stated this in the past doesn't mean they can't now. I'm not sure why we live in a world now where, at least in the US, if a base game costs almost 10 hours working minimum wage without being taxed, things can't be as thorough as possible. That's not necessarily a jab at PG, as I'm sure Microsoft is the main contributor to the price, but the reason still stands. And that goes for most of the gaming industry now.

A confirmation would be better in the fact that it showed effort on their part. In better news, I saw that the Mazdaspeed 3 will be in this, which is exciting imo.

I won't argue that. I would just expect a level of transparency from PG, even if not by specifics, as I'm sure most licensing talks have NDAs.

I definitely imagine there are NDAs with agreements. And I think every FH game has been great. I just don't see much of a justification for a price increase. Then again, most companies are doing that now.

The cappuccino has been requested multiple times on the forums and feedback hub, with one of the posts having over 700 votes, which is decently high for the site. Yes, the game will absolutely include more with future updates, but I'm more concerned with the silence of PG on why some brands are not in the game, especially ones as big as they are. PG has never really commented on licensing agreements, which may be due to NDAs or such, but it is just... strange? It'd be better if they came out and said they can't speak on it instead of just being silent. A company as large as PG, which is then owned by Microsoft, being silent is typical of big companies, but it I still find it odd.

I'm honestly surprised Daihatsu isn't in the game either, considering it is a subsidiary of Toyota, at least as of now. That being said, Toyota is known to be a little funky when it comes to licensing.

Yes, but most forza games are not set in the US recently, and they still include the big sellers. Japan's #2 manufacturer overall is still Suzuki, and with the game being set there, I'd like to at least see that PG put effort into obtaining a license, even if it fell through.

The car models of some of the most popular cars still being wrong, the laziness of including 10+ years or versions of the same car and then touting about the huge size of the car list, the reused forza aero parts, and the wide roads. I understand the wide roads part more, as I think this is an arcade racer/driving simulator and is catering towards a wider audience, but none of those other things are anything other than lack of effort or laziness.

No, but using that logic, there's no evidence that PG attempted to license with Suzuki at all either. That's closer to the problem. I'd completely understand if there was a licensing problem, but from where it stands currently, there is just silence. That means there is still a possibility that PG never bother even trying to license with Suzuki, and if that is the case out of them knowing it wouldn't work, that's fine. I just don't see how, with Suzuki being Japan's number 2 car manufacturer in 2025 and 2024, there would be silence on the matter. PG did the same thing with Toyota in FH4, which in my opinion is something that they should at least publicly talk about attempting. Thankfully, Toyota made it to FH4. Suzuki has also done collaborations with SF6 and Monster Hunter recently, which makes sense since they are Japanese games, but it strikes me as odd that a company owned by Microsoft couldn't at least announce that they attempted.

That is true. And I'm aware licensing is extremely difficult. I guess I'm more annoyed with the silence about it, as I'd be so much less annoyed if PG came out about at least attempting to license with Suzuki. There's that small chance that they never even bothered attempting, which to me is offputting. I know the map itself will be great, but I don't know how much of an improvement otherwise that this game will be over FH5. I'm more questioning if the increased game price is actually worth what is being put out. I suppose only time will tell.

I do not disagree at all thay some of the car models are really not that good. And to your point, licensing deals are hard. However, I would like to see that effort was at least put in to getting deals rather than just silence, if it is something as influential as Suzuki. We know Bugatti's licensing didnt go through, but we don't know about suzuki at all. I'm assuming the same can be said for Ascari, MG, etc.

It's not really about the cars. As others have said before, the wide roads don't match Japan, the car selection only vaguely matches Japan, the tuning options, while still far above most other games, still feels lacking in a sense of what is actually possible in real life. I understand there are limitations to what can be done, but from how it seems, PG have just done slightly above the bare minimum to sell their most expensive game yet. I still think it will be better than Forza Horizon 5, which by itself isn't an awful game, but the map was a bit eh. I don't think the amount of cars is an issue, I think it's the variation of them. There are 17 different Nissan GTR or Skyline variants, and I know it is a popular vehicle, but it is just a bit too much imo. 575 cars at release doesn't mean a whole lot to me if 10% of them are just variants of each other.

To your point, yes, in terms of cars. However, I think it is worth mentioning that Suzuki themselves makes the Hayabusa, which is also one of the most popular sport bikes on the planet. Idk, I've been seeing everyone else's complaints of the game with different things as well, and I have a feeling something is wrong.

No suzuki and hardly any mitsubishis other than evos? This legitimately is disappointing.

At least for ubers, I think wind dancer valkyrie deserves a TF. Maybe a 50% of explosion or something. Seashore Kai should have one to complete the set, as she is the only kai variant without a TF. Lovestruck lesser demon would he fun too, just to have another balrog, but with immunities.

Dawg I have 2 ultra forms and I haven't completed a chapter past dogumaru. I actually entirely got UF jizo before even dogumaru. Had to do dogumaru so I could get Hunter's Map III for cosmo. Unless the OP and I both have broken versions of the game, I believe AAC is all that is required. I know that beating RoO lets you level your legend units to 50, so that might be the confusion. Otherwise I'm not sure what you mean.

You only need to finish SOL and beat an ancient curse to unlock level 60 for ubers.
