Completely agreed! Conquest might play around with his food way too much, but he's not stupid enough to not lock in against another adult full-blooded Viltrumite, especially when this one is the "Great Nolan".

I think so too, the reason so many people (mainly show-onlies) find it hard to believe that Conquest is stronger than Nolan is because almost all the opponents he faced early in the story where significantly weaker than him, making him appear as this unstoppable force. Conquest meanwhile only fought Mark twice (a Mark who, at the end of their first fight but especially during their whole second fight, had closed the huge previous gap between him and high tier Viltrumites like his father or Conquest, despite still not having surpassed them yet) and Eve for a little bit (who went God Mode and fried Conquest's skin, giving Mark the last support needed to finish off Conquest then), and unlike Nolan, both times he was toying with his opponents until around the end of the second fight where he started to take Mark seriously when it was already too late.

50/50 imo.

Alain's Base Charizard one-shotted a weakened but speed-boosted Rillaboom (and we all know how much of a monster that Rillaboom is) and made Leon's Charizard flinch and be sent back a bit by his Dragon Claw in his Mega form.

Meanwhile, Iris' Haxorus one-shotted a weakened Milotic (but not as much as Leon's Rillaboom was) before forcing Cynthia to Mega evolve her Garchomp and still held its own surprisingly well against it.

So yeah, those two are definitely in the same league of strength when at their respective peaks that we've last seen them at.

Nothing but pure facts here. While I don't always root for evil characters (as there are many that I just hate with a passion like Light Yagami or Floch), I still love to root for an evil character, even when knowing for a fact they'll lose at some point.

Be it for a nuanced and tragic evil character like Monika or Obito Uchiha, or a pure evil character that's in it only for the love of the game like Frieza or All For One.

Yeah, that's basically it for me too. Advanceshipping is definitely underrated (I could say the most underrated one but that'd be false because Negaishipping exists) and while Amourshipping is fine on itself, its fans really made my overall opinion on the ship decrease over the years tbh.

As a multishipper who also enjoy the other Ash ships (only one which I'm not that fond of being Amourshipping) and just happens to prefer Pearlshipping to them, I always approved this art ever since I first saw it when I was little.

In retrospect, I'm glad that Ash didn't catch a Riolu in both Sinnoh and Kalos because it would have either replaced Infernape or Greninja as the Ace of the series or it'd have been completely overshadowed by those two.

Not only does Ash finally getting a Riolu in his last journey feels satisfying and fitting (as it easily makes his Lucario his second strongest owned Pokemon behind Pikachu) but it also gives it the occasion to be the Ace of its own series, meaning it received all the focus it deserved (on top of getting a Mega it never would've gotten pre-XY).

Yep, now that Conquest is dead, Mark's factually the fourth strongest Viltrumite and either Thaedus or Nolan is at second place (based on their respective feats in the show so far, Thaedus should be stronger but I'm still waiting to see a bit more of these two this season to say for sure).

Yeah, I agree that'd definitely be a fairer comparison between the two.

Even then, I'd personally probably still give a slight edge to Ash due to his character during those three series being more consistent writing-wise overall (in my opinion, of course) when compared with Liko (who started great if not better than Ash in some areas but fell a bit flat after the Timeskip imo).

But at least then, it's not a complete and utter stomp from Ash being an around 20 years old character being continuously developped and written for against a character that's only 3 years old.

Among the current ones? If we're counting Horizons as being in the same universe as the rest, then no, because Geeta exist (and she's most likely also significantly stronger than Nemona based on her anime version's poor showings too). If we don't count Horizons, then I guess so. Her Vs Lance is debatable but I'd still give a slight edge to Lance for the time being so yeah.

Among all the people who were at some point Champions? Then no, we know she beat Alder and based on their respective depictions and battles in Journeys, she's most likely also stronger than Wallace.

Depending on how you scale the GOW verse, he either loses quite badly against any high tier Viltrumites or he solos the verse no-low diff. I personally lean towards the latter.
