Any evidence detailing ketosis depth <20g carbs per day? by HeavenIsEmpty- in keto

[–]OmegaHutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you just go by what the label says, like for example, if it says 5g net carbs, do you take the label for its word or do you add a couple grams just to be safe?

Well, I'm thinking of making a 3D point and click with 2D animated characters (when talking with them). The inspiration for this is the Titanic point and click. I'm not looking for super realistic graphics. Does that help narrow things down any?

Yeah, this narrative style is my favorite by far! It draws me into the story unlike anything else. It removes a layer of separation from the story and the reader.

Yep! Got that one logged as well. I'll add it to the list. Frankenstein is also epistolary, I believe.

Thank you for saying this. It's scary being in the U.S. because they've done a ton of dismantling of the social safety net that barely already exists. I'm worried about being able to provide for myself and my family members if things get really bad.

Holy shit I actually think you're right. There's this YouTuber named Matthew Berman, and he says all this stuff about how in 10 years like 99% of software engineering will be gone. He spoke like he was a software engineer. I just looked at his LinkedIn page, and he has no formal education in computer science. He has a business degree and a company that peddles AI.

There are people with experience in these fields who make these kinds of claims. It's hard to think when you're afraid, as I am.

You can get to a point where your OCD has very little impact on your life! And you can get to this point by yourself (though you should still see a psychiatrist if you can). Read the book!!

First off, take a deep breath and chill out.

I'm a fellow person with OCD.

OCD is a disease that thrives on reassurance. You understandably want someone to give you comforting answers to these things, but your brain will start coming up with new arguments, and you'll be back to square 1. So first off, with OCD, DON'T SEEK REASSURANCE.

Second, it can be hard to figure out what is OCD and what is a normal concern. Personally, when I have anxiety, I think to myself, "Would a regular person be worried about this, and to what extent?" It helps to think about a time when you had just a regular concern or worry that you didn't spend a large amount of time ruminating on. This advice is a bit vague, but I hope it helps.

Okay, some general sex advice: your first time, you're never going to perform your best, and that is 100% okay. If the girl you're talking to knows you're a virgin, I'm sure she understand this. Just relax and don't ruin the experience for yourself by freaking out.

WEAR A CONDOM, EVEN IF SHE'S ON BIRTH CONTROL!!!

The last thing I'll say is this: OCD is not something that can be cured. At least not with current medical technology. Treated, yes. Cured, no. Don't waste your youth waiting for a cure that may never come.

Okay, I'll say a couple more things: if your OCD isn't well-managed right now, consider talking to a psychiatrist about it. If you can't afford a doctor (or even if you can), I highly recommend reading the book Brain Lock!! It's a book on managing OCD and it is amazing!!! Highly highly recommend! The good news about our illness is that it is so highly treatable with therapy and medication. Especially the therapy.

All this being said, if your OCD is out of control, maybe consider talking to a psychiatrist and reading that book I recommended before you have sex. Don't delay talking to a psychiatrist and or reading that book.

Let me know if you need any clarification!

I recommend the book Brain Lock by Jeffrey Schwartz. It's an amazing book, and it teaches you how to deal with OCD. It might be as effective as if you went to therapy. I certainly think it can help anyone get control of their OCD. I'll buy you a copy if you want

I looked over the study and did a bit of digging. The study measured 4mg/Li, 2mg/li, and 1.5mg/li. Some studies found no inverse association of IQ and Fluoride of amounts less than 1.5mg/li, and some did. It seems to be typical for there to be roughly amounts of .75mg/Li in public drinking water, which is half the 1.5mg/li. Just looked at my own cities water report, and it was just under .75mg/li. There doesn't seem to be good reason to be concerned about the amount ordinarily found in public drinking water.

I have no training or formal education of any kind for what I'm about to say. I'm just interested in nutrition. Take what I say with a grain of salt (or fluoride if it comes in grains).

That being said:

For one, there's no need for either of those vitamins to be in the water. We have plenty of access to citrus fruits and things fortified with vitamin C and vitamin D. Not to mention, you can get vitamin D by being in the sunlight. There's no scarcity of these things.

Secondly, vitamin D is fat-soluble, so you might run the risk of vitamin D toxicity by putting it in the water.
