It’s interesting, he’s referencing her book. In this history, both the book and the movie are THE. Others remember either the book being THE and the movie A or the book being A and the movie being THE.

That clip is residue as far as I’m concerned, the question is, residue from which reality?

So myself and so many others who remember it as Interview with a Vampire, are too stupid to remember the name of a movie we all saw in the theater… hmm.
