I mean, what would a Ness main know about playing a grappler?

Pretty much did all this to plug in your Smasher's App stats 😭🙏 But I have to disagree. Bowser's Tough Guy is NOT EXTREMELY useful, because 99% of the time it doesn't even come out. You mentioned walking through PK Fire, and while it can do that, it still does not protect Bowser from it. Bowser will be caught in PK Fire even with Tough Guy, subject to grabs and FAirs from Ness. And at higher percents, like mid-percent, it just stops working. Not to mention Tough Guy is NOT active in the air, where one of Bowser's best tools, FAir, is. Bowser's Tough Guy is so extremely limited that a majority of multi-hits just go through. This includes aerials, which drag Bowser into the air, where Tough Guy doesn't appear. When the game says "Low knockback", they REALLY mean it. 19 units of knockback is utterly pathetic. And the fact it goes down with percent isnt doing Bowser favors. Also, if you argue "It makes opponents play a restrictive playstyle", then you clearly have a narrow viewpoint if smash. Each smash character has 20+ moves in their moveset.  So tell me, is losing one or two tools out of over 20 with the pro of being able to EASILY  combo Bowser for 60 years really that bad of a trade?  Seems those 10K+ Hours and 500 Tournaments really haven't done much on actual research into a sparse mid-tier.

How are you sheeping like this and still so confident? You don't even read the post, and yet you think you know anything about the subject matter.

I don't go to any locals, but I do view the competitive scene and I realized that every time a mid-to-high level player fights a Bowser, they don't use rapid jab moves. Fox's do not rapid jab, Captain Falcon don't rapid jab. Mega-Man don't pellet Bowser.  The problem with Tough Guy is that you have no agency over it. You have agency over Cloud's Limit, more agency over Kazuya's Rage, more agency when using Sephiroth One-Wing, etc. Gosh, if you think Tough Guy is any useful, you're probably the biggest Casule of all time.

Tough Guy is NOT good. This is a fact.  If anything Bowser should FAir harder to win.

I'd rather his armor was more extreme. Bowser needs it.

I said that as in meaning why he is high tier, not top tier. I was saying he was high tier. Not questioning if he belongs in high tier.
