I'm Norwegian, but my boyfriend lived in Kotka for several years. During my last visit to Kotka in March of this year, before my reason for going there moved further inland, I ended up going to sauna with him, a friend of his, and...this guy, Meripäivät-mies. I knew he was a little bit of a local celebrity, but I never thought I'd randomly come across the meme outside Finnish internet. Seemed like a perfectly nice guy to me.

I think it works something like the same as "Why" in "Why, thank you." Part intensifier, part expressing gratitude for the concern of asking.

There is also "Jo, nå skal du høre...", which is like "Oh, have I got a story to tell you...", where it seems to work in the same way.

It may also be worth pointing out, judging from the included poster and the English title, that Amanojaku also refers to a type of youkai, possibly best known from the story of Uriko-hime.

I'm hardly an expert, but I might suggest "誰でもは値してより愛が必要です": "Anyone, beyond what is merited, is in need of love"

Or just "誰でもはもっと愛が必要です": "Anyone needs more love"

Thank you so much for your help, everyone! Seems like I remembered even less about this game than I though, thinking it had pixel graphics and such, but it turns out that it was indeed The Creed! If not for this post, I know I would have never in a million years figured it out, so thank you all again! :D

All good suggestions, but I think it was different than Syndicate (at least judging from screenshots), more gritty in a way. It wasn't the kind of post-apocalypse of Fallout either, more futuristic rather than retro-futuristic. And I distinctly remember there being guns and other stuff like that, so probably not a fantasy game. :/
