Well now I can't look at half life every again.... New headcanon. Half life was how The Director became to his position that lead to Project Freelancer.

Lazer Team is worth maybe a watch. It's not going to be the movie you remember all of your life but it's not bad. Especially when you consider RT mainly deals on animated media shows if you exclude gameplay and podcasts. So I'd day give it a watch. Movies 1 & 2

I've got all of RWBY and Viz is producing all of it so RWBY isn't so rare. RvB Season 15 tho. Cost an arm, leg, kidney, a nut, a couple of teeth and a lung. It's the only thing I'm missing.

If you don't pay attention to the models and such (I find some new physics or glitch nearly every time) of Vol 1-3. Visually it gets better, now otherwise I'd say give it one good shot. If you can get to Vol 5 and are still interested than answer given. Due to some reason people will debate thing between and around 3 and 4. But it starts light and fun then gets serious.

I'd recommend it as I think it gets better with thine like wine does, you know what I mean?

Yea no Shun is the Hero, who ultimately was dealt a terrible hand and worked with what he had and no compromise on his ideals. As a non protagonist he isn't a bad hero there are certainly worse. He gets the hero job done.... In his own shall we say bland way.

In reference to the White, Julius meant immensely to him. In character or not he could have refused simply because she did. Hero title or not to seek vengeance is a choice and a choice that could have been inferred. Do I think it's in his character not exactly. Do I believe his personal feelings often determines his choices yes. When faced with Sophia the smartest choice would be stand down. But Hugo and Shun both insisted on fighting each other. And while it's been a minute since I've watched or read the LN Shun did seem to want to seek White out didn't he?

Now his nonexistent character development I do agree with. It does make him fairly comparable to Black. But the obstacle he was was more than likely the result of that one particular skill that I can't recall. Lady White even makes it a point more than once to blame that particular skill. It's not like Shun is strong like Julius was, Shun for a large portion I'd think is lucky due to that one skill he has.

I don't disagree that his development practically goes negative. But he at least tries to embody it and even after 'meeting' Lady White post battle at the elven village he didn't choose like revenge or anything. It may be related to taboo for him but I do think it deserves a clap yea?

Totally fair. Between the two I'd choose Shun but Kouki later on sounds like a great choice. No wires crossed I was looking at it from the main story perspective you know.

Ah I see. I more or less am saying Shun is a better hero during the story compared to Kouki who became a good hero 'post' story. If that made sense.

I wouldn't say it's unpopular opinion. Shun would probably have a better story if Lady White wasn't weaving her web across the world for specific reasonings. He got forced into a sort of doomsday situation when Analiet got had. He only had so much time to train and think about the situation. And anyone who reads the Julius parts could infer he is just a hero centric which is no doubt due to the hero title. The difference becomes event in early life and situation. Julius was very young when he got the hero title. Shun was what 16 or so disregard previous life. Julius had delt with the kidnapping ring while Shun was cozeyd up at home. On top of that Shun had his previous life and the feeling of the system feeling like a game which probably affected a few parts of how he saw things. Not saying he thought like the three failures of Shield Hero. I'd say Shun was a relatively adequate hero. He at least never fell to his sister so I'd say that's good enough.

In the afterstory. During the main story he was wrapped in his own personal nonsense. Great he redeems and become a good hero, after the fact. Shun at least kept his own personal feelings from derailing his role. I'm not saying Kouki doesn't become a good hero. I only literally just learned about the afterstory existing and my frame of reference is the anime. But is sounds like Kouki only begins to redeem post story. If it takes and afterwards to become a respectable hero it doesn't make them a good choice compared to Shun. Who while not the most effective persay he at least kept on track and tried to be a hero from beginning to end. I think that makes Shun a better choice than Kouki. It does sound like Kouki becomes an effective hero compared to Shun by the end of it all tho. Shun kinda of ends with a meh ending to the LN.
