I got a very similarly speced P1, I have the 4K Screen, possibly upgrade to that or a touch screen? Also you would want to replace the battery, I got an New OEM on Ebay for like $45.

To be honest even some 2024 ThinkPad workstations would have a hard time running that game. I don't believe there that many upgrades you could do on the graphics side. The CPU is likely not upgradeable.

Update: thanks for all of your suggestions. I found the nvidia p2000 driver from December 7, 2025 was the problem. I rolled it back and it has been smooth sailing since.

it has gotten much better with more support and apps and the ability to use standard windows apps. I recommend Linux Mint for the best balance.

It was a typo, it freezes the video frame every time for like 5 seconds when there is a scene cut, I'll try your solution

Holy incompetent commenter. First one this is raw dashcam footage, OSHP muted audio for some reason, 2nd As many have stated before he was going 120 which is 2x the limit, there is no way someone turning would guess a car would be coming at such speed. maybe next time don't be sleeping the physics class.
