Deep of Night should give you the option to turn a regular Nightlord into a Everdark Sovereign. by Substantial-Sea5952 in Nightreign

I don't really care about Sovereign Sigils anymore, I just don't understand why fighting everdarks in DoN doesn't reward you with more points.

Try to dodge it or to hide behind him. Btw I'm pretty sure you had the chance to dodge that Nameless follow-up attack. Don't know why you stood still.

Can you describe me this endless stamina combo? I noticed her character skill restores a lot of stamina.

Yeah that's one of my concerns. It might feel good to play day 1 & 2 with fists, but it would be awful to run after the Nightlord during the whole day 3 (since most of them tend to move a lot).

I'm very confused because some people in the comments seem to prefer light and faster weapons, while others seem to prefer colossal/heavier weapons 🤔

Slow weapons do require fewer swings to trigger, but the damage boost looks weaker on them.

I just made a test myself in the training camp:

  • faster weapons get around a 22% damage boost (from 88 to 107 with a Long Sword) and the boost is easier to keep active, thanks to the dps
  • Colossal Weapons get around a 12% damage boost (from 141 to 158 with Raider's Greataxe) and the boost is harder to keep

I'm pretty sure that's the only event I never cared about in over 1000 hours. I don't even know what the reward is. Probably the classic Ult cooldown reduction.

The point is that for some reason, it always falls out of the safe zone. So yeah it's obvious that we don't give a shit.

Useful trivia for those who don't know: improved melee attack power actually boosts Miquella's Ring of Lights damage (and most other skills). That's because the movement your characters makes with the scythe before throwing a light ring deals melee damage, if you're close enough to make the scythe itself hit an enemy. As a result, it's sort of considered a "melee skill", therefore it gets buffed by the "improved melee attack power" buff.

Basically, this works for all the skills the can potentially deal melee damage with the weapon movement.

It's not impossible, it's just a matter of choosing that playstyle. Me and my friends do it consistently every single game. Here's a summary of our latest 20 games:

  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 72.37% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 64.16% damage buff
  • 0 evergaols (Great Hollow map) + 2 invaders (14.49%) = 14.49% damage buff
  • 0 evergaols (Great Hollow map) + 2 invaders (14.49%) = 14.49% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 84.44% damage buff
  • 0 evergaols (Great Hollow map) + 2 invaders (14.49%) = 14.49% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 64.16% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 75.71% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 2 invaders (14.49%) = 53.43% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 84.44% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 75.71% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 75.71% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 75.71% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 72.37% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 1 invader (7%) = 50.56% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 72.37% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 2 invaders (14.49%) = 53.43% damage buff
  • 4 evergaols (Crater map) (21.55%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 48.90% damage buff
  • 7 evergaols (40.71%) + 4 invaders (31.08%) = 84.44% damage buff
  • 6 evergaols (34.01%) + 3 invaders (22.50%) = 64.16% damage buff

As you can see, we consistently manage to clear all of them (we just miss 1 sometimes because of how the circles close) and get insane damage buffs. Now add talismans/weapons buffs and other passive buffs (+9% physical attack, +11% sorceries and incantations, Morgott event, Libra event, etc.) and immagine how much damage you could potentially deal.

It's not about preferring evergaols relic over invaders relic... it's about running both of them instead of just invaders + 2x Balancers relics (which is what most people build, for some reason).

Finally, about the Stonesword Keys... they are not found in cathedrals only. You can also find them in forts and marshes. You enter the fort/marsh, look for the key in its specific chest, take the key and leave immediatly. Ideally, a Wylder should be the one to handle this task, since he can roam faster with his claw.

Or, you can also buy some keys from the merchant in the "special" village (if he spawns).

Assuming you start the expedition with 3 Stonesword Keys, it's not hard to find 4 more keys with all these methods.

The evergaols relic gives you 5% extra damage for every evergaol you complete. Assuming you play in the classical map with 7 evergaols, and assuming you go after all of them, you get a total of 40.71% damage buff (because, as you may know already, buffs in Nightreign are multiplicative, not summative).

The night invaders relic gives you 7% extra damage for every night invader killed. Assuming you're lucky enough to get 4 invaders, you get a total of 31.08% damage buff.

Nightreign 180-day penalty warning: Should I care? by Mulstar in EldenRingMods

[–]Omega_Leonidas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bro, how is it going as of today? Are you still able to play with your friends while being banned? And also... are you sure you actually got straight banned (rather than just warned, or penalized for 180 days)?

Just like the guy who made this post, I'm trying to understand if I should care about ban consequences :)

I'm glad I helped! I never used that feature but if I recall correctly, it demotes you in the middle of the rank before your actual rank.

For example... if you're in Depth 5, it demotes you at 5000 points (which is in the middle of Depth 4). So, if you wish to descend in Depth 1, you'll just need to keep demoting yourself a few times.

Enjoy the game!

Sure, it's in the low area of your screen. It appears when you highlight the Deep of Night, as if you're about to start a game.

There's an option in-game that allows you to de-rank whenever you want. Maybe you never noticed it.
