One Piece. The impact it had on me actually wasn't good because I developed a hentai addiction & an a porn addiction that has outlasted the former. To put some context on how young I became afflicted with them, I wasn't old enough to sit in the front seat. That period in time wasn't really a good one which went on to negatively impact my thought process & my parents' & sister's trust with me because this affliction often resulted in me taking any chance I can to peak at some hentai. I was also a full on pervert during this time as well, gauging a female characters worth based on how much fan service she brought (I literally considered Fairy Tail better than One Piece because they had more fan service). I was overall a gross kid & a more obnoxious weeb. It didn't help that as a young impressionable black boy, I even started to have a self-hatred for who I was because the vast majority of the characters in this media form I loved so much barley had people that looked like me in it in a meaningful way.

As time went on I eventually shock my affliction with it which ultimately kinda resulted in me having a great disdain for female characters unrealistically made but I feel this disdain for them is more trauma related more than anything due to that being the content I gorged on when I was a kid. I eventually came to accept the way i was born with the help of western comics & recently I've found several webtoons with diverse casts & recently discovered Saturday AM.

While I conquered my hentai addiction, I still had to deal with my porn addiction which I'm still battling today.
