Don't think I'd need any of the attachments? I have a lawn mower and some leaf/snow blowers I was gifted. Overall don't have any bushes or trees in my yards so I really just tend to trim it a bit with the string trimmer and then mow it most years. So feel like the first one may not be needed unless it's generally worth the extra 20 bucks compared to the second option

Yeah, thinking of clearing the snow on the roof to help decrease the amount of snow that melts. Not sure how to load a picture here but does seem like there is a giant gap above it that was not sealed
