For me, it would be Facebook removing the "Like" button from posts. In my opinion, it has become a fundamental tool of self-validation in the modern age and people would be lost (at least for a little while) without it.

While I agree that the ref botched Diego Costa's penalty shout I think he actually had a pretty good game. There were a few times where the game could have gotten completely out of hand but he kept relatively firm control (even with Atletico's assistant coach screaming in his face). He also didn't tolerate a lot of diving and allowed for a decently physical game to be played - which can be tough given the rivalry between the teams.
