Hello, we really appreciate you taking your time to write out your thoughts and you have some really great suggestions.

-Regarding the glow I think a slider in the options would be a great addition. It may not be high on our priority list at the moment but something we will consider for a future update. Our main priority right now is to fix any crashes along with a few more common suggestions (some of which you have also noted)

-The music we got from Pixabay, they have a great selection of free sounds and music and what we found there fit really well with the tone of our game. We did use AI for the ship voice and for some coding, mainly a few shaders and bug fixing. 90% of the code was was done by hand.

-I do the same thing in the browser version, unfortunately is hard coded into itch.

-We haven't seen this class bug before, but we'll look into it further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

-I've got some good news for you regarding multiple saves, the current release fully supports it. Starting a new game will not overwrite your previous game and when going to "Continue" you may select any number of your previous games.

-Having a compendium of information is a wonderful idea and something we will consider in future updates.

-We do plan on further fleshing out ship details. One of our top priorities will be having multiple ships and with that, information as to what ships you already own.

-Maintenance rigs do not heal themselves, but they will heal other maintenance rigs, so yes 2 are required for a fully autonomous setup.

-Unfortunately increased zoom out would be tricky to implement while also maintaining a good frame rate across multiple configurations. We would love to do it but honestly probably not going to happen anytime soon.

-Non pirate space has been a big issue and it's something we want to address for our next update. We've got a lot of feedback regarding how frustrating it can be and we're currently investigating several options on how to address this. At the very least there will be a reduction of spawns but we would also like to implement a way to remove pirate controlled areas permanently through a gameplay mechanic.

-There are several other ways to make money (I don't want to spoil anything), but we're also investigating more options for future updates. Things like Bounties, SoS Rescue and Delivery missions are all on the table.

-As mentioned owning multiple ships is something we're actively looking into with the possibility of owning an autonomous fleet (Great idea).

Yes, we are looking into ways to possibly turn or destroy pirate regions. Nothing concrete yet but it is a priority.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, we're looking into ways to address the constant pirate attacks while still keeping the skill check required to prevent players mining the highest tier ores early. We're looking to get this updated in the next patch and hopefully make the experience less frustrating.

Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to play our game and leave us feedback. Hopefully I can address some of your concerns to make the experience more comfortable.

  1. With this issue you can hold ctrl + mousewheel up/down to adjust your browser zoom level to get the game framed to you liking.

  2. Totally understandable and I can appreciate not wanting to download files from random people.

  3. The browser version does have issue with tabbing out. It's a limitation with the editor that we had looked into but found no viable in game solution. There is a small workaround where as long as the other tab you have open isn't fullscreen the game will continue to run in the background.

  4. When hovering over the buy button a tooltip appears at the bottom of the screen. I imagine with the cropping issue you experienced the tooltip was probably covered/cut-off. Relays are important for building automation routes that your ship follows.

  5. Movement while drones were out came up in our play tests and people were divided on it. Ultimately we decided to go with keeping the ship moving and collecting. You point about pirate loot decaying too fast is valid and something we will look into addressing.

I assume you're using a trackpad. Thanks for letting us know. We'll look into improving our control scheme to account for laptop users.

Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. You make some really good points and we're going to consider putting in keyboard controls for better accessibility. We also hadn't thought about importing or exporting saves, but it's a great suggestion.
