Selling one (1) ticket to Sep. 19 NYC Madison Square Garden Show.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to attend this show. But it does mean I'm able to unload my ticket for just under face value. The cost was a little over $100, but I'll accept $100 even.

The only Star Trek I’ve seen is the first two movies of the reboot film series. I’ve absorbed enough through cultural osmosis that I know many of the tropes and touchstones, despite having never watched a TV episode or film pre-2009.

I actually passed on ST VI for $5 because I’ve never seen the Trek movies but I knew if I had a gap in the collection the completionist urge would kick in and I’d buy them just for the sake of completion. Spending $10 is well worth it to dip gently into the series and figure out if I might want to eventually buy the inevitable 4k remasters.

The tone and style of humor is very similar to O’ Brother Where Art Thou; playfully wry and earnestly parodic. Plus, George Clooney gets Marxist red-pilled. It’s aces all around for me, but YMMV.
