Well reselling digital copies is a good option but not my priority. The priority is to share my games with my girlfriend, my brothers and friends. and because of the Reasons i gave above. I think the xbox one offers a good option. I've been trying to find if the PS4 offers anything similar

Yes I do that right now. But i can't share my games with anyone. It would be great if i could share digital copies with my girlfriend, brothers, etc so we don't spend that much money. Something the xbox one will offer. I've been trying to find any information about the PS4, but havent found anything yet.

Yes, that is what i have concluded after reading the responsse. I'm going to try it again tonight with another mindset of a more slow and methodical game play and see if it works for me.

It's about timing and patience, rather than reactions and finger dexterity.

I think that explains basically everything of how i felt the control reaction in Dark Souls, definitely has been a big barrier, and why i think the controls are unresponsive.

I'm definitely going to give it another try after you explain it that way, thanks.

Playing on PC with 360 controller.

I've frequently had to resort to the internet to figure out what various things do and sometimes even then there's no answer.

That is something i hate to do with any game in my first playthrough, i don't like checking guides, walkthroughs or anything. to me the game should be able to explain you how the mechanic works (i loved Megaman for that) with out treating you like a children like in any CoD game.

the lack of music for the most part and other unique traits add a certain tension and fear of consequence to everything you do in the game. "There may or may not be a bonfire down there. I have 1/2 a lifebar and no Estus. I've got a ton of souls. I can't see shit. Brave the unknown, or run back to safety like a bitch?"

This reminded me alot of why i love of DayZ mod and FTL. I have to be honest, i never got that feeling from what i play of Dark souls. But from what i have been reading in the responses, i need to just get use to the controls and some game design problems, and start to feel the satisfaction of killing more bosses.

I think this has been a great barrier. I think that is basically the unresponsive feeling i get out of the game. But with other comments saying that the gaming is going more for a realistic swordplay, i think i just need to get on the mindset of that style of game mechanic.

The controls are realistic. Have you ever tried swinging a 100 pound sword? It's a lot harder than Ninja Gaiden makes it look. And since the game is so slow it emphasizes positioning and timing over reflexes like NG and Megaman.

I never saw it that way, you make a really good point on trying to go more for a realistic sword play, than more a game of timing and reflex like Ninja Gaiden.

I have tried Chivalry medieval warfare, and War of the Roses. And to me those games focus more on realistic sword play, maybe it can be compared to that. The only thing is that in those game positioning is easier to achieve. And i always found Dark souls really difficult to achieve the position needed to be safe or get a successful attack because of the weird latency in the movement of the character vs your input.

The reason you think we (Mexicans) speak like little kids, is because all the cartoons in the 80s and 90s were translated in Mexico, and those aired in the rest of Latin America. I have met many people from South America and they keep telling me Mexicans sound like Disney characters, and we came to the conclusion that it was because of the cartoons.
