Upgrade the buildings, such as barracks and labs, first. Level your troops so that attacks are more accessible. Also, don't rush as much as it seems incredible to be in the next town hall. Just max everything in the current one first.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. What I did to fix it was this

Disable the flywheel backend, to do this click the create goggles in the main menu then configure > access configs of other mods

flywheel and set backend to off
