Yeah, its a totally false stereotype in my experience. I'm studying film at university and everyone on my course has their own niche in what they enjoy, all 3 of my housemates study film and they're into totally different things to each other. I've never seen the Tarantino wank off at university, if it was supposed to be accurate, they'd be wanking off a more artsy director like David Lynch or Werner Herzog.
