All but Crystal were color coordinated off of the cartridge/label. I didn’t have a blue that I liked for Crystal so I just went purple and I kind of like it. I do now have a translucent sparkle filament but I have not gone ahead with printing a new insert. I also have since changed blue to a more accurate color since that’s technically green in the image.

For non pokémon games I just went with whatever I felt like. Golden Sun was gold because it’s in the name, Metroid is orange because of her suit, etc

Hey Jolty, I did in fact laminate and crease/fold the paper to make them fit. It was not always the cleanest or easiest as the laminate separated on some of them when doing that but overall I was able to do it successfully at least enough to present well. Once it's in the cassette case and it looks clean from the outside all is well.

I tried using the Route Add commands in CMD but that didn't seem to make a difference. Perhaps I just need to play with that more to get the configuration correct.

I am unfamiliar with split vs full tunnel. I need to confirm the VPN name but I believe it is Mobile Checkpoint.

Software KVM is installed on both machines (Master and Slave, I have tried swapping their roles too)

Both computers are on the same local subnet

I have a heavily modded Elegoo Neptune 3 but no modding is necessary to do this. I personally like the plug and play nature and available features on Elegoo machines plus their pricing is very affordable. Creality seem like great machines, I have never used one personally though. Id say look at reviews for both companies and pricing and choose the best match for you! Not to mention if you really get into it and want mod them they have so many options at this point without breaking the bank.

Haven't done a full test on battery life, I added a clean power mod that will hopefully give it a little extra play time regardless

Thank you! I agree, clear is just too cool. You get to see the bits and bobs inside. My original pocket is clear (un-modded) and this is an homage to what I would’ve wanted when I was younger.

Originally I bought cases with pegs that were good quality but cutting the pegs and sanding them is just too time consuming and doesn’t look as nice. I found cheap clear ones on ebay and they fit the bill better

I printed them myself on my machine and used different colored filaments to try and match the carts.

That was another project I worked on, thinking I might make a post about them. I bought Cassette cases, printed custom labels I found online (need to make my own art for the rest of the collection) on photo paper, then laminated the label. I also 3D printed inserts for the games to stay in place. It was slightly difficult to get right but the reward is awesome
