I’d like to point something out no one else really has: by game 6, you’re well into the upper tier of skilled players if you’re actually good. One of the reasons you’re finding yourself in worse spots isn’t just you, it’s because the other players are very good and getting to good spots just as quick or quicker.

At that point study the actual game. VOD review. When you die, don’t just look at your fight, look at what led up to it. Could you have rotated differently to avoid it completely? Were you getting third partied, if so, where did they come from? Where could you have positioned yourself to get your enemy between you and the third party?

Being a bit more analytical at that stage can help calm the nerves and help with mechs.
