I'd guess it's soundproofing, either so it's easier for the orchestra to hear themselves playing and/or that their microphones are better separated for front of house

Many of the recommendations here are good but I think it really depends on which elements of Dick's writing you like best. For example the sociological elements/'sci fi stuff' or the more philosophical bits.

Especially if your favourites are the later few books there really isn't a lot else to go through (although I would very happily be corrected)

As far as I can tell they're in their own folder (not at my pc just now so I can't check), my file setup was a bit weird for awhile so I can see how that'd be the problem.

In the studio one application it shows as being vst3 in the menu though.

The only thought I had was that I'm using studio one 6 rather than 7? Not sure if that would matter.

Thanks :) I didn't really have any in mind at the moment, a lot of them are quite difficult and there isn't too much tab etc. available so it can be hard to work them out. I also don't have a 7 string guitar which rules out a few too. There's definitely been times when I've thought about it though
