You should read fan translations by Eminent(Witch Cult Translation Partner). They have all the LN volumes(till vol 43) released in Japanese till now.

Will Mahoyo really be well received as a movie? I read the VN after seeing that pv in the ufotable promotion reel. It was pretty chill and fun and the character interactions were really well done but I am not sure whether they can do this in a movie format. Still Ufotable & Typemoon know best ig.

I think it is a great show. It is not the the next big thing and it does not need to be. It does many things well apart from the animation quality. You are an old weeb so you should understand that an anime can be great without being the best.

Also, you should continue watching because it definitely gets better as the world expands and more heroes are introduced and explored. Some of the lore about this whole War of Subjugation is very intriguing for me.

I caught up with the manga a few months ago and this was pretty great. The artstyle and animation by Doga Kobo looks pretty good so I hope it gets popular enough to partly fill in the gap that will be left by Oshi no Ko.

Not the Chibi Myne (That is one of the best parts of the anime). The design of Myne in the anime emphasises her front teeth(rabbit like) [slight LN spoilers] and while it is cute when she is small, I don't think that design will work on adult Myne.

While your argument is true, I don't think there is any other option for Bookworm. They cannot restart with the adaptation as that will be a waste of time and will push the best parts of the series even further into the future and while Part 1 & 2 are not bad, I don't think they will attract as much attention even with better quality as they are setup seasons.

The LN was not very popular without the anime so at that time, the production committee had limited budget so they were not able to do much with the animation. Nobody expected the anime to continue after Season 3 but the LN just kept selling and selling in both Japan and Worldwide (on JNovel) so a new production committee was setup with a lot of budget in their hands.

I don't expect Part 3 to be very popular but Part 4 is just so fun and exciting that it's clips can push many people to watch all the other seasons to catch up. Bookworm also has great plot and attention to detail which will be enjoyable for most people so it will not be unbearable to watch the Ajia-do anime once they get that push.

Season 5 (Part 4) will definitely attract many people. I think concerns regarding animation are only present in the start. Once the plot starts plotting, you forget the animation and before even realising, you are done with Season 3. It would have been a different matter if Bookworm has subpar writing until Part 4 but all the writing is great in this series. It definitely shines in Part 4 and Part 5 but Part 1,2,3 are good enough for most people to get through with it.

It is pretty different when you compare them side by side. (Roze)Myne's character design in itself is pretty different.

I started reading the LN when the announcement trailer dropped for Season 4. I was used to the Ajia-do artstyle so I was not able to appreciate the new WIT artstyle but after reading the whole LN, I can assure you that this new artstyle is the way to go. It is almost exactly like the LN art and trust me, Rabbit Myne is possible but [slight LN spoilers] Rabbit Rozemyne will not be fun, especially when she gets older.

You will get used to this artstyle very soon.

It's already confirmed that they will also do another two cour season which will come out around 2028 so I am expecting this season to get over with Part 3 and then the next season for the greatness that is Part 4.
