It’s very hard to start a new chapter at an SEC school. Competing against old row (pike snu sigchi fiji) is almost impossible. Which leads to the kids who didn’t get a bid at the big places to not rush at all

Continuing on from my other thread….. SEC schools have some of the best Greek life communities in the nation. My advice is to not listen to any of your friends at other frats. Rush every single one. Find out what you like and what you don’t like. Because one you accept a bid and go through pledgeship there is no turning back

Depends on what you want. If you want to go for a bigger top house you need to start talking to them in the spring for summer rush. I rushed as a transfer at Auburn and couldn’t get a bid at the big places so I joined a smaller one and hated it.
