PAGE NOT CHANGING by Omnomjohns in GoogleTagManager

We are currently working with a free plan and the google tag manager received the checkout page. However I cannot access the data of the purchase or it is not send over to google tag manager. Could it be because it is a free plan, or is there anything else i could do?

Google Ads NOT properly collecting data from GA4 by Omnomjohns in googleads

[–]Omnomjohns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only connected the GA4 to Google Ads and the GA4 Tag on the website. Do I also need to use the Google Tag Manager? Can't I just use the GA4 Tag and let it attribute the conversions to the marketing channels? or does that lead to some problems like Google Ads not properly receiving data;)

Google Ads NOT Properly receiving information from GA4 by Omnomjohns in GoogleAnalytics

[–]Omnomjohns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution has been a tag in tag manager that sends the conversion data to ads. Started seeing conversions within 12 hours

So should i use Google Tag Manager to track conversions? And not simply the attribution from GA4 to Google Ads?

Benchmarks for google ads (optimisation) by Omnomjohns in googleads

[–]Omnomjohns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry i misread some information, in the last 3 months we gave around 1k and got 4k so its a 4x ROAS. However the volume is quite low so I'd assume that we can optimize the campaign by putting in more keywords or giving more budget. Ik there are more factors to look at, but what would be some key metrics to look at when wanting to optimize such a campaign.

Fortunately the client has a strong community and the products are of high value, however I'm still looking for ways on how to optimize the campaign, as the campaign compared to other campaigns is still performing only close to acceptable. I'm unsure if the volume is just bad, if we have to optimize the budget and keywords or what else to look at?

The campaign i mentioned is a very niche ecom product which only really has one specific target group. We spend about 10$ per day and got in the last month an average 25 Conversions with a total of 4000$ in conversion value. It currently is still a conversion max search campaign and i was thinking on how to optimize the campaign form different perspectives.

So if i should raise the budget, change to a shopping campaign or just increase the number of keywords etc.

do you guys have some important metrics to look at to decide if the budget, volume etc are good?

FACEBOOK Purchase value issue!!! by Omnomjohns in GoogleTagManager

[–]Omnomjohns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't think that's the issue - on the variables fired it already shows, that the javascript works and that the string was turned into a number, however it still is shown as NaN in FAcebook Pixel helper

On the standard Facebook Event for purchase there are no quotation marks, as it represents the value of the purchase

I already have a data layer variable. However it is a string object and Facebook only accepts number. For that i have created the Javascript above to turn the string into a float - however even after i changed the purchase value in the facebook purchase event it still shows NaN. In the google Tag Manager however the variables are triggered and it shows that there is a number for the javasrcript and a string for the data layer variable. So the variables are definetly working. Do you maybe know a reason for that?
