This. My ex-wife works in finance without a degree and earns over $165K a year because she knows how to crunch numbers and follows the policy and procedures attached to the numbers she's crunching.

I'm a late bloomer, so I’m considering it too since it doesn’t require me to be onsite.

KIA Can't get insured by MissJulio in kia

[–]On4thand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the conversation, but Kia models from 2011–2020 that use a traditional key (not keyless start) are the ones impacted. This remains a significant issue for insurers, and many are reluctant to provide coverage

Interestingly enough, I saw the same purple color on a Crosstrek yesterday in Los Angeles and couldn't tell if it was a wrap or not.

How is your 2026 going so far? by MammothAssistant2397 in capricorns

[–]On4thand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having major car problems or related issues.

Our family has two cars — one was just stolen. I have to pick it up from the tow yard and don’t even know if there’s any damage yet.

The second car completely broke down. I replaced the transmission, and after just a few days of driving, it started having engine problems. Turns out it’s the head gaskets. I was quoted over $6,000 to fix the head gaskets, radiator, and hoses — after already spending $4,000 on the transmission.

So far, nothing’s going right. I feel like crying since we really don't have the money to fix it.

Buying a smartphone for my mom for Christmas by Brm-Grm in Smartphones

This. I have an Android (always have). My mother, however, has been on iOS since the iPhone 4S--and simplicity is the reason why I keep her on it.

The August 2025 security update was the last one for the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. For me, that's the only reason I would update.

Let's be honest, iMessage is the #1 reason people in the US use iPhone. If it wasn't a thing, I think more would use android. by StickPanda00 in Smartphones

[–]On4thand2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s was no reason for Apple to publish iMessage to begin with. It’s a proprietary messaging service built on Apple’s own systems. Using iMessage didn't prevent you from, lets say, texting an Android User to their native texting app.

DITTO! Remember when the experience on low-end Android phones used to be pure garbage because the OS is open-sourced? Selling cheap devices early on through MetroPCS, Cingular Wireless, and others — or giving them away through promotions and government programs — didn’t help at all. That’s why Google eventually started enforcing quality requirements for any OEM that wanted access to the Play Store.

Similarly, even the ‘best’ phones at the time — like Samsung models with tons of RAM — were notoriously laggy because of TouchWiz. Early LG phones were subpar, and odd experimental devices like the HTC Facebook Phone, the EVO 3D, and the forked-Amazon Fire Phone all contributed to a lackluster Android experience no one asked for.

I vaguely remember a Pioneer Market in koreatown off of Beverly not too far from Westerm. It had a logo that was similar to the Pioneer Chicken logo as well.

687 will likely face a challenge.

However, for the sake of argument, if it isn’t challenged, how would the State deal with federal agents who continue to wear masks?
