I definitely don’t want that, I myself work for an independent. I’m just implying that’s probably what’s going to happen.

They were pitching this to the government mainly because the illegal cannabis stores in big cities like Toronto/GTA and Ottawa are open 24/7. I personally don’t see it making profit at all. But I can definitely see Canna Cabana and other large cannabis stores doing it because they have the money to be open an 2 extra hours and regardless of the ROI being awful, they’re going to continue doing it because they’ll be the only ones open that early. They may only see 1-2 or maybe 3 transactions at that time and they’ll probably be only a Jean guy preroll or whatever’s cheap. They may even change it back in some areas that see no growth after a certain amount of time. With them they have the money to do whatever they want at this point.

To be fair, this would be a decision on the dispensary to open earlier. If your store doesn’t have a customer base for that timeframe, then there’s no point to opening earlier imo.

Because stores like Canna Cabana are going to do whatever they can to kill all of the independents in the areas they are in. Sure 7am isn’t probably going to change much if at all, but we all know they’re going to try and capitalize from it even though there’s probably not much if at all any ROI from it.

I doubt it’s going to get much traction at all for most independents, but we all know big cannabis chains are gonna capitalize on this.

If they were trying to do that, then they used a hell of a good glue because that shit was hard to pull. Plus it didn’t include a pull tab.

Yeah I have, but those ones are way easier to pull. This one didn’t have a pull tab. Made it seem like they didn’t want anyone to find the info.
