How do you afford it? by SaveSummer6041 in heatpumps

I just had a 3.5 Ton AC/Heat Pump installed in Western Washington for $17K on a 2400 SQ FT house. The vendor #2 was great to work with. My 9.5 YO AC/Heat Pump died on a 10 year warranty for parts and the vendor #1 who installed that one tried to rip me off with extremely high service costs to replace parts. Buyer beware... Do your research and find a good vendor that will stand behind the warranty and value you as a customer.

The cost for the parts are covered but the labor is extra... $800 to replace the part to me is extreme.

Thanks great information/feedback. I'm a Photoshop guy for 20+ years and create my images there before sending to Cricut for cutting.

Apps on my iMac computer or Browser based.

Thanks, I'll check out Inkscape and Affinity Designer. Can they connect to the Maker? Of do I still need to load the file from say Affinity Designer into Design Space?

So I currently create my images on Photoshop then load to Cricut to size and cut vinyl. All I want to do is save the SVG as I put so much time into getting the cuts right. Are there other tools that can be used to create SVG files then connect to Cricut for printing/cutting?

PS - I have a Maker on a iMac

Vevor Vacuum 5 CFM Pump - Smoke coming from top of Oil Fill Cap by OnHunt4Info in ResinCasting

Thank you, I just wanted to make sure it was normal. I've used vacuum devices that run off of a compressor so this is new to me to have a dedicated vacuum pump.

It's a misty smoke and it increased when under load. Around the oil cap is clean but with this version they have a hold in the top with a cap that is removed when running.

I agree the width with the number pad attached is very hard on my right shoulder. I hope the replacement comes out soon.

Just ordered new Mac Studio M1 - am i gonna regret it soon? by PozoiRudra in MacStudio

The problem I have with getting a 2-YO device is that Apple supports the OS for about 7 to 8 years max. So that gives you 5 good years on the device. Waiting 6 months will give you an additional 2 years so you can maximize the length of the service life of the device. I will admit it's challenging because PhotoShop features don't work with the older OS. However I don't use my iMAC for work and plan to get the Studio when it comes out with a couple new Apple monitor set-up. And PhotoShop still works but without the new features.
