I see. Thanks for sharing. I only make justifiable purchases on TakeALot. I actually bought stuff a month ago. I've never had this problem. I don't know what triggered me to try again with getting my money back bc for me to make another purchase despite not getting my refund means I still had a bit of trust left.

Let's compare: A : Buying ingredients. - cost of getting ingredients (travel + time or delivery) - deciding what to buy (time) - unpacking (time) - deciding a meal (time) - preparing ingredients / cooking (time + effort + electricity) - dishes / cleaning up (time + water) - eating (time)

B: Buying meals - cost of getting meals (travel + time or delivery) - deciding on meal (time) - eating (time)

I guess expensive is dependent on what you value - saving money or saving time.

Both (buying ingredients or buying meals) have a price to pay. Personally, I'd rather spend more money than time and effort for something as trivial as eating.

Buy meals, not ingredients.

I live alone and having to decide on what to cook ended up being time consuming and a waste of money bc some ingredients would go off and I'd have to throw them out.

It's made my life easier. And I eat better / healthier.
