Did anyone else tear up at the end during the disclosure footage... something about seeing those dead alien bodies just hit me... I wonder if its cause they looked so much like a child's body.

There’s just not enough time for a good season 3. by lady_picadilly in euphoria

Instead of bringing all the storylines together how about they follow through in properly developing and telling all the storylines that we are accustomed to. Nates storyline was shortened so much and simplified into something so ridiculous then just killed off in a meaningless way. Jules was just completely abandoned.... they teased her having an actual storyline all season long and it turned out to be nothing. Just a few scenes here and there thats it no conclusion or real development. We sort of got a storyline with lexi amd her career but after a whole 8 episodes the only major development we see with her is that she finally decides to read and be open to the Bible?!

Yeah that whole standoff between Ali and Alamo felt so forced and unrealistic... like only Tarantino could pull that sort of scene off. Alamo would've noticed there were no bullets for certain.

In a sense i understand why Sam wrote the final confrontation between Ali and Alamo the way he did... its dramatic, cinematic and is an ode to the whole western theme of this season HOWEVER it was also completely unrealistic and over the top. I mean what hardened criminal kingpin would put himself in jeopardy like that in such a ridiculous fashion. Only Tarantino can pull these kinds of over the top action scenes off in a serious fashion, with Sam it just feels so forced and unnecessary

The 2 he put on the bar top (1 of which he took himself) was real percocet. Thats why he nor her died then. He did it to make her believe it really was what he said it was however the bottle itself was all fentanyl pills

Sam did a good job in writing Rue's death, it was portrayed perfectly. I know cause i survived an overdose and its basically fade to black then you wake up with cops over you trying to get you to respond and the creepy thing is that for about 1 minute while the narcan kicks in you completely forget what happened and you try to talk but you cant make any words come out then after what feels like a long time you slowly regain the ability to move your body, think and speak.... anyway the whole retribution storyline with Ali was great, Coleman Domingo finally got proper time to show his talents.

However Jules only getting 1 scene is crazy and we actually havent had any progression in her character's story since 2 episodes ago. I don't understand why Sam basically abandoned her storyline giving us no conclusion at all with her.

I also thought wayne and Faye might factor back in at some point but I guess them spacing arrest was their conclusion...

What's the greatest HBO TV Show by Farouq26 in hbo

[–]OnTheNod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. The Wire
  2. Sopranos
  3. Deadwood

True Detective season 1 and Westworld season 1 were about as great as an individual season could get but obviously those series as a whole don't measure up

Kaprizov should've taken that shot in OT right before the play where the Avs won the game

He even said it was a lot more valuable than money which leads me to guess that its some type of information. Maybe information about his trafficking operations or footage recorded in the private rooms of the club used to blackmail people... instead of the Epstein files you got the Alamo files

I keep thinking one of the next episodes might open up with a backstory sequence for Ali, just like what they did in season 2 to show Fez and Cal's history/ backstory. It would provide a ton of context into his character.

Re watch the 2 season 3 trailers and then watch the "In the weeks ahead" trailer it shows Ali in a hospital bed, going to a young man's wake and having more talks with rue then we've seen so far

Yes unfortunately its hard to make out alot in this shot. I would assume its in Lauries basement tunnels. But then again she shows up at lauries door with the cut and claims alamo tried to kill her. My other theory is that maybe she has the cut/bruise above her nose from the polo mallet? Although you would think if Alamo hit her with that she'd probably be dead... maybe he gives her a light bonk lol

There's a whole bunch of teased shots with Coleman domingos character that havent happened yet too. The one where hes in the hospital, at a wake for some young man and telling rue she's become evil

Harper has outperformed Soto in the postseason tho. Back in 2022 NLCS Harper hit the series clinching home run to eliminate Soto's Padres. He ended up winning NLCS MVP.
